The gilt edged mirrors and mock antique furniture set this hotel apart from the crowd. Rooms are a good size and seem clean, although the lights are on an annoying movement sensor, they dazzle you if you get up in the night and tend to leave you in the dark if you stand still in the shower for too long!... more

Perfectly located - close enough to the Plaza Mayor, but away from the noise. The hotel is immaculately appointed with beautiful marble and woodwork. The downside - the breakfast buffet is chaotic and worth avoiding. Even though it was part of the deal, with hindsight, I would go and find a cafe or restaurant. more

This hotel is a 5 stars hotel... but to be honest, we've paid a lot more to stay in other hotels that we not so highly ranked! I loved this hotel and would love to stay there again. A beautiful hotel with antiques and paintings, but up to date in every other way. Staff very nice. Right in the middle of Salamanca that makes it in walking distance of whatever you want to see or do. Nice park across from the hotel. more
