A comfortable place: spacious and well equipped rooms. A big variety of foods at the breakfast buffet including home made puddings. Very friendly and helpful personnel. It is located very near the Plaza Mayor, the 'corazon' of Salamanca. All places of interest can easily be reached by foot. I was told that the regular price for rooms is around E... More

its tidy, it's sweet It's nice and neat To stay in central Salamanca You don't need to be a banker. Solid stopover joint right in the heart of the action. We stayed on a Saturday in April and stag and hen do's abounded but that just added to the party atmosphere. Aside from street side tapas the cathedrals have to... More

My wife and I stayed here on a short visit to Salamanca. We loved this hotel, the warm welcome, the location and the breakfast. The manager spoke perfect English and could not have been more helpful. We would love to go back.

just walked into this hotel and asked for a couple of rooms , the lovely receptionist was happy enough to show us a room before , we booked 2 rooms , a little out of date with the décor , however the rooms were like suites and very comfortable , heating was great considering it was -3 degrees. Breakfast was... More

We stayed four nights in the Hotel Rua Salamanca in December 2014. It is just a half block from the Plaza Mayor. It is also close to all main tourist attractions such as the University and the cathedrals. We arrived here without knowing this place and we literally loved it. We had 2 balconies in the room. The room was... More

Found this hotel by chance en route to Jerez. Comfortable room , warm and spacious. The location is perfect for exploring this historic city , plenty of bars and restaurants near the fabulous square. Very good value for money too.

We stayed two nights in the Hotel Rua Salamanca in December 2014. This hotel situated in real historical center at Sanchez Barbero just several meters from Calle Mayor (Main Street). It takes only five minutes to get the Cathedrals and University of Salamanca by walk from that hotel. All other historical places of the city are in walking distance. Room... More

My older son is attending Salamanca University as part of his course so it was an ideal chance to visit a city we had heard a lot of good things about. My son recommended the Rua as he had heard a few good comments and the price / location were fine, 60 E per night, staff were nice and friendly.... More

Very good service with people at the reception desk speaking at least Spanish, French and English and providing you with good advices for the visit of the town. My room was large with a bow window facing a square close to the hotel. The location is 2 mn away from Plaza Mayor which is of course unvaluable. The only problem... More

Stayed one night recently in the Hotel Rua and very much enjoyed it. The location is perfect right in the center of the tourist area. The room I booked offered a free glass of wine which turned out to be offered in a fantastic wine bar 2 mins walk from the hotel. We went for the glass of wine and... More
