We have no bad comments to make for this hotel but we would suggest you use a Sat nav or Google maps to get here. A bit tricky with some one way and pedestrian streets!! Free WiFi in the room a bonus!

I was looking for a well priced, convenient hotel for a conference at the Universidad de Salamanca. The Hotel Rua is just a few hundred meters from the Facultad de Filosofía y Letras, and offers a nicely valued room. It doesn't hurt that breakfast and wi-fi are included. Other reviewers have noted the convenient location for visiting Salamanca's attractions, and... More

This hotel is well located. Close to the Plaza Mayor, but far enough away not to be too noisy. We found a fabulous wine supplier nearby who did fresh and innovative tapas dishes to taste while you tried some new wines or beers and a very handy little cheese shop next door. The hotel room was spacious with room to... More

A friend and I decided to spend 5 days in Salamanca to relax and explore. We couldn't have picked a more ideal hotel in terms of location, price and ambience. The hotel is just a block from La Plaza Major, on a quiet little street close to the University, shopping, and is walking distance to the Art Deco/Art Nouveau Museum,... More

This very central hotel has a high rating and 4 stars But I wonder how they achieved it The guest notes only gave the room cleaning times the breakfast was poorly presented lacking fresh milk, Honey empty hot tray ,pineapple with skin on blunt knives The toiletries in unopenable plastic packets no bathroom water twice , Great central position and... The hotel is centrally located close to the main plaza, restaurants and other attractions. The room requested was a front facing room with a balcony. The room was very spacious and clean with modern furniture. The wi-fi worked well and was included in the price of the room. Breakfast was not included but there were plenty of 5 euro breakfast... The location couldn't be better, just a few metres from the main square and a very short walk to the rest of the city. Room was fairly large with a recently upgraded bathroom but the double bed was rather old and the bedding was a bit thin and worn. The breakfast was good and the staff were all friendly. Free... Nice hotel, but not very modern - decor is a bit dated. We tried to take a bath in our room... had to ask the front desk for a plug, when we filled up the bath we realised that water was coming up from a drain on the other side of the bathroom-- not very well designed. Hotel was a... More

We have stayed in hotel Rua one night in July, 13. This hotel is located in historical part of Salamanca, close to all tourist attractions. Tons of vistas, nice shops and restaurants nearby! The hotel is in an old building that was renovated, rooms of average size with surprisingly modern furniture. Best breakfast buffet we encountered during our 3 weeks... More

This hotel is very conveniently located for the tourist sights of Salamanca. It was a long way from the railway station, where we had arrived at. We took a taxi, which can't actually reach the front door. The room we had was an inner room which looking out of the window looked out out onto nothing. We were told if... More
