Stayed one night in August in 2 rooms. The rooms were clean and well appointed, if a little small. Bed was comfortable and the shower worked well. Staff were very helpful, breakfast was acceptable, wished we had a little more time to explore.

Location is perfect. Nice rooms. The view on the cloister from the second building rooms are really terrific. Good and expensive restaurant. Terrible staff at reception on arrival and on departure. On arrival the receptionist was just so rude and unpleasant. The contrast with the Hospes Palacio de Arenales in Caceres was astonishing. This was absolutely not the kind of... More

This is a beautiful historic hotel, with lovely rooms and public areas indoors and outdoors. Great location. However, other than the Reception staff, who were welcoming and efficient, most of the other staff we encountered were indifferent, incapable and the outdoor bar staff were bordering on rude. The night we had dinner, there was some sort of event on at... More

We had big expectations of this hotel chain but were disappointed from the start at this particular establishment. There was no porter to help with luggage, not so friendly reception staff and before we knew it, we had accepted an offer to get a room with a view of the cloisters courtyard - at 50 euros extra- granted this was... Lovely hotel on edge of old town.had a great room overlooking cathedral. Lovely relaxing seated lounge with an excellent gin and tonic after a long day sightseeing. Welcome pack of water and biscuits was nice touch.

What a great hotel. Beautiful conversion of an historic building. Perfect for exploring the beautiful city of Salamanca. Secure parking on site. Important for our Harley Davidson motorbike. Lovely room overlooking the central courtyard & views to the cathedrals. Very nice buffet breakfast & also had smoked salmon & scrambled eggs on toast. What great value for money Northern Spain... A fantastic hotel in the very centre of Salamanca. It is very easy to walk to all the main sights. The room was spacious and very comfortable with a view onto a central courtyard. There were a few storks in their nests in the church bell tower opposite our room which was lovely to see. There is a car park... More

Great hotel conversion of Dominican monastery. Quite reasonable for the location and quality of the hotel. Onsite parking was super convenient. University and old town just short walk away. Good quality wifi connection. The only surprise was the size of poached eggs in the morning - almost missed seeing it on the table!!!

I stayed a couple of days in Salamaca at Hospes and it was a really nice well located hotel, where it was possible to walk around to everything around the city center. Parking is possible at the hotel, but I found a spot in the city pretty close. The staff is friendly and helpful.

This hotel is a converted Convent the history of it seeps out of every brick. We upgraded our room to deluxe so please we did. The view was amazing out onto the courtyard. We were also able to see the Stork nesting in the Bell Tower and feeding their young. We kept the shutters open all night so we could see... More
