This was a beautiful hotel with great views. My only complaint was the bed was too hard. But the bathroom was spacious, and the rest of the room nice. I would stay there again. The access to town was close, a short walk across the bridge.

This is a modern Parador that actually offers free parking and is located close to old town. Our room was large and updated. It was about a 10-15 minute walk into town. We only stayed one night so didn't see a need to upgrade to the city view but would recommend it for those who are staying longer. As a... More

This is a modern hotel, well up to Parador standards and when viewed from the cathedral has a certain, not immediately obvious, art-deco appearance. Book a room facing the city for wonderful evening views - the cathedral and other buildings are illuminated at night. The cathedral is well worth a visit and you can get right up into the bell... Hotel is easy to find with free parking. The view of the Cathedral across the river is fantastic and especially at night. Only a 10 minute walk across the river and into town. Of course its down to the river and back up to the town center. This is not your traditional Parador with a lot of historical character. The... More

Its a Parador, beautiful rooms but aged somewhat. Loved the space. Bathroom really nice. Only complaint was the beds were pretty hard. The views are great. Path to salamanca over the bridge was good. We did make a new friend. Lost female dog was wanting to come home with us. Stopped him at the gate. An hour later she still... More

This Parador is in a modern building. We must admit, we do appreciate the Paradors which have conserved buildings of historic significance, so initially it was disappointing to find this hotel in a modern building in such a significant historical city. Having said this, the hotel offers appealing décor, our room was larger than usual with an excellent bathroom and... More

Pro’s: Great location for view and walk over bridge to old city. Full service hotel. Free above ground parking & WiFi. Restaurants very good; prices not too high for quality of hotel. Lighter meals served in bar. Easy drive to locate. Most of staff speaks some English. Couple of English TV channels. Clean property throughout with very good maid service.... More

Stayed here one night en route from UK to southern Spain. Wished we had made time to stay longer! Easy to locate and warm welcome. Good secure underground parking. We paid for room facing old town and wow what a view, especially in evening, as the sun set. Definitely worth the added cost. Big room with large bathroom. Fantastic wifi... More

I had an extra night in Salamanca after spending a week in another hotel in the heart of the town, and passed it here with a friend. Although one of the few modern Parador hotels, this works as it gives a feeling of being designed to counter and complement the ancient town that it opposes. The modern exterior seems a... More

Certainly not a historic or old but beautifully renovated building, but more a good clean and functional hotel. We drove into Salamanca so again we're looking for some easy access with the car, parking and also easy access to get into the old town. This place offers all that. It is just across the river and an easy 10 minute... More
