Ask for a room with view no matter what. Unforgettable.... Easy to reach town by foot or take a taxi for 6€. Restaurant had an interesting tasting menu we did not sample. Breakfast fine with very helpful personnel . Reasonable priced in november

An good location with ample parking. A modern clean hotel. It is on a hill on the opposite side of the rive from the cathedral and old town. It is however a bit of a hike to the old town. One kilometre? Down a hill, across a long ( historic ) bridge and up hill into old Salamanca. It is... More

We often stay at this Parador as it is conveniently located on our journeys through Spain, and quite easy to reach from the West side, once you know the way. A modernish Parador with very spacious rooms, half with the good views towards the old city, it is surrounded by spacious grounds, which include a pool and tennis courts. The... More

the location is superb with a magnificent view on the cathedral. just go down the hill, cross the romantic roman bridge and you are in the old town. there is free parking and the breakfast is very well appointed. the building is modern unlike most paradors, but the rooms are very large, with a very large bathroom on an american... What a place, so unlike other Parasols, modern open hotel. Fabulous rooms, excellent food, not cheap but worth the money. Buffet breakfast is excellent. The staff are best we came across in Spain, friendly, professional. A special mention to Francesca a receptionist, she was brilliant, very helpful when I had a problem with my classic car, the handyman, who's name... More

Of the five paradors we stayed in (Toledo, Cordoba, Ronda, Salamanca & Segovia) this was the most modern and upscale - inside and out. It has an excellent view and is an easy 5 minute walk from the Roman bridge on the edge of the city - probably 15 minute walk from the center of the city. The food, service... More

Booked this for a one night stay on our recent Spanish tour. Excellent modern Parador perched on a hill opposite the city on the other side of the river. Our Sat Nav took us right there no problem, ample parking. Our room was superb, stunning views of the old city, clean, spacious and every facility. We walked into the old... More

The outside of this hotel is not very appealing, but the inside is excellent. Lovely restaurant, great breakfast, very nice large clean rooms with huge bathrooms. Good position within walking distance of the town, and a huge free outside car park. There is a small, secure underground car park for an extra charge. Good value with many seasonal deals.

This is a very nice parador, the rooms are modern, large and clean. We had a room with an amazing view of Salamanca, which is lit up at night. The dinner was delicious and beautifully presented. The breakfast was a bit sparse. I would give it 5 stars, but for the price. It seemed a bit high for a parador... More

Our first night the wedding celebrations finished at 4 am and the final night the punk rock band was still going at full blast at 4.30 am. The staff were in need of training. They appeared overwhelmed by the fact the hotel was fully booked.
