Pros: Very reasonable prices and unbeatable location. Stunning view over the square, but obviously not all rooms have this... Very good room for a family with a bunk bed for the kids and enormous bath. Cons: Little old, worn and tatty. Often a queue at reception. Small and old TVs. Conclusion: For us the view, convenience of the room and... More

This is our third stay at the Petit Palace and again everything was superb - had our favourite room overlooking the Plaza Mayor. As it was New Year's Eve we were left with our complimentary grapes and cava for the midnight toast. Was disappointed that there wasn't any entertainment in the square - had looked on Utube for previous years... More

Dear Guest, We are delighted that you have fully enjoyed your stay and choose our hotel again. We appreciate the time taken to answer our satisfaction survey and provide feedback. As we consider the video you saw on youtube corresponded to university nochevieja, held in mid-December. The celebration of the new year in the early hours of January 1, it... More

Fabulous location. Right on Plaza Mayor. The hotel has rooms that look over the Plaza so ask for one of those. There is a lift which is always a bonus. The bed was extra comfortable, water was hot and they had lovely big bath towels. Breakfast buffet had a very good range of items and was included in our price.... More

Dear Guest, We are delighted that you enjoyed our services. It is true that our location can not have surfaced, but there are several nearby and close to the hotel that are a good solution for our customers. In return, they can enjoy staying in the heart of Salamanca with everything needed meters from the hotel. We are glad to... More

Located on Plaza Mayor,in the heart of Salamanca, this hotel could not be better placed for seeing this amazing city. Forgive them the tiny room, because that's where any negative criticism ends. The room was clean, and though the bathroom was also tiny the shower was terrific. A spacious breakfast room, looks out over Plaza Mayor, with a generous breakfast... More

Hotel is very centrally located right on Plaza Mayor. Room was poorly lit, AC did not work, shower in bathroom had 2 shower curtains which did not reach to the floor so floor became soaked w/water. Breakfast was ok; nothing special. Restaurant was very nice and the staff went out of their way to help us with the menu. Food... More

Great location next to the plaza mayor, and I think rooms are available with a view over the plaza, ours wasnt and very disappointing. Small, dark, tired and a miserable view out into a square concrete void. Quite depressing actually. On our exploration of salamanca we found several other hotels nearby, equally good location, similar price and, from appearances, more... More

The location is by far the best thing about this hotel. Its right on Plaza Mayor and you can walk to everything. Our double room was VERY small. In fact our suitcases took up all the floor space. There is a mini fridge in room which was great. The bathroom door is made of glass. We hung a blanket to... More

The location was exceptional with views over the plaza from the breakfast room. Our room was large and functional although a little dated. The breakfast was reasonable. The staff were helpful but a little challenging for English only speaking guests.

As a dog lover it is always fantastic to find a gem of a hotel where you are not treated like second class citizens - we have stayed at this hotel twice and have not been disappointed on either occasion. We booked an executive room (yes, with a dog!) overlooking the Plaza Mayor which is fantastic - they even made... More

A pretty basic hotel but the position adjacent to the Playa Mayor more than makes up for any shortcomings. We were booked into a double room but when arriving at the room found it was a "twin" ie. two single beds. The correct term for what I call a double in Spain is a Matrimonial Room, fortunately the helpful girl... More
