Great hotel when visiting Salamanca. The rooms are not really big but it was big enough for the two of us. The airco worked fine for us. The location is great, just a 20 sec walk to Plaza Mayor. Breakfast is quite expensive but you can have a great breakfast across the street at 100 montaditos. Would recommend.

Salamanca is a perfect one day stay on your journey here. However this hotel is quite depressing. Check in is Kafka-like. Rooms are really depressing even with your eyes closed... Seen the fact that there is no water pressure, the 'massage' shower is worthless.. On our second night the aircoditioning was just not working...blowing hot air @ 32C outdoors... I'm... More

Friendly staff, small rooms with airco, clean enough. But the best part is that it is almost on the Plaza Grande. This is the most beautiful plaza in Spain. Great ice cream at the left corner of the square coming from the hotel. It can pay off to check the last minute fares. We got a deal for 2 rooms... More

Tiny room but amazing location right on the Plaza Mayor. Can easily get hotel subsidised parking very close if you are driving. The rooms have all the essentials, private bathroom , mini fridge and wifi. Nothing swanky but puts you right in the centre of things in Salamanca.

I know the reviews are mixed, but we had such a great experience staying here! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the location cannot be beat. Our air conditioning was also great; I know that many times in Spain, there is no air conditioning in May. I feel like people complaining about a lack of it may not have been... More

Right next to the plaza major but hotel rooms were appalling. Tiny rooms, very dark but worse was the lack of air conditioning meaning that even in early May we could not sleep for the heat. When the window was opened, the pigeons in the air well meant we were waiting for one to fly into the room. The hotel... More

Dear Walter, Thank you for your comments. They will help us improve. I have to comment that not all our rooms are the same size. About the air conditioning, it has been running since May, so I understand that it may have been a misunderstanding with this comment or may thermostat or it is possible that the thermostat in your... Pros: Very reasonable prices and unbeatable location. Stunning view over the square, but obviously not all rooms have this... Very good room for a family with a bunk bed for the kids and enormous bath. Cons: Little old, worn and tatty. Often a queue at reception. Small and old TVs. Conclusion: For us the view, convenience of the room and... More

This is our third stay at the Petit Palace and again everything was superb - had our favourite room overlooking the Plaza Mayor. As it was New Year's Eve we were left with our complimentary grapes and cava for the midnight toast. Was disappointed that there wasn't any entertainment in the square - had looked on Utube for previous years... More

Fabulous location. Right on Plaza Mayor. The hotel has rooms that look over the Plaza so ask for one of those. There is a lift which is always a bonus. The bed was extra comfortable, water was hot and they had lovely big bath towels. Breakfast buffet had a very good range of items and was included in our price.... More

Dear Guest, We are delighted that you enjoyed our services. Located on Plaza Mayor,in the heart of Salamanca, this hotel could not be better placed for seeing this amazing city. Forgive them the tiny room, because that's where any negative criticism ends. The room was clean, and though the bathroom was also tiny the shower was terrific. A spacious breakfast room, looks out over Plaza Mayor, with a generous breakfast... More
