The location is by far the best thing about this hotel. Its right on Plaza Mayor and you can walk to everything. Our double room was VERY small. In fact our suitcases took up all the floor space. There is a mini fridge in room which was great. The bathroom door is made of glass. We hung a blanket to... More

The location was exceptional with views over the plaza from the breakfast room. Our room was large and functional although a little dated. The breakfast was reasonable. The staff were helpful but a little challenging for English only speaking guests.

As a dog lover it is always fantastic to find a gem of a hotel where you are not treated like second class citizens - we have stayed at this hotel twice and have not been disappointed on either occasion. We booked an executive room (yes, with a dog!) overlooking the Plaza Mayor which is fantastic - they even made... More

A pretty basic hotel but the position adjacent to the Playa Mayor more than makes up for any shortcomings. We were booked into a double room but when arriving at the room found it was a "twin" ie. two single beds. The correct term for what I call a double in Spain is a Matrimonial Room, fortunately the helpful girl... More

we were lucky to have room 309 which had a balcony overlooking the plaza mayor. The view was stunning! The Room was small but a perfect size for me and my Daughter and the Bathroom is of a very adequate size. The room even came complete with a laptop. I was very happy with the room and I loved the... I spent a week in this hotel while on a Spanish course at the very good ISLA. I still can not quite believe how cheap it is given it's position right beside Plaza Mayor. Yes there are compromises when fitting a hotel in to a historic building and area, but it has been done here as best as it would... More

On the plus side, this hotel is centrally located in the old town within walking distance of most attractions and the bedrooms are reasonably clean. The letdown of this hotel are the small rooms, clutter of old computers in the bedrooms, noisy with youngsters running and shouting in the corridors, the reception staff are slow and it feels more like... The hotel is in a great location and the staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I arrived and was given a room with no view and was too hot...I asked the next morning to be moved and they happily accommodated my wishes and needs. The breakfast was good with a great variety of items--meats, cereal, eggs, fruit, and pastries. My... More

Location is brilliant for seeing the city. However the hotel itself isn't great. Their website said that the rooms were air conditioned, not true. We had to open the window and with the noise outside it was impossible to sleep. It was the worst night in a hotel, I didn't sleep at all. The breakfast: the ham and fruit looked... More

I would say it is more a hostel than a hotel, old, noisy, small rooms, shower with not enough pressure. The only pro is its excellent location right on the Plaza Mayor. Note that it is impossible to reach by car, you will need a 300 meters walk from plaza de los bastos (The closer you can get by car)... More
