We stayed two nights at the hotel where the location, the staff, and the amenities were terrific for a reasonable price. The rooms are small but are completely equiped. The hotel is less than a block from The Plaza Mayor and walking distance to the Palace and the lovely museums as well as the Retiro Park. more

Location is great, for sure. Easy to get to. But I have to say that the staff was very lacking in terms of being friendly and assisting us. Our needs were very modest actually but I found it difficult to get the staff to help us in a timely fashion. The safe, in this "High Tech" hotel broke down with... more

I booked on the Web but on arrival was told that I could only have a balcony over the Plaza Major if I paid a supplement. That was fine, but if no room with a balcony had been available we would have been very disappointed. So confirm in advance that you will be getting such a room. Without this view... more

Hi! First, the hotel design its perfect, the building, the room, everything! The room its big enough, the bed its very good, and the bathroom just perfect, with a very nice shower system! I also enjoy the computer desk, with a computer to access Internet! Second, i would like to refer, the breakfast, the place its beautiful, with a great... more

Hotel Petite Palace Las Torres is in a very central location next to the Plaza Mayor. Staff were friendly and helpful. For 55 Euros we got a room overlooking a nice park. For an additional 11 Euros got breakfast for two with a special sale, so the price was right. The room was about what one would expect, reasonably sized,... more

My wife and I stayed in this hotel for one night after a few terrific experiences with High Tech hotels - most notably in Malaga. Unfortunately, this location was a major disappointment. Our room was showing signs of poor upkeep and the bathroom seemed to be lifted out of some sad little motel rather than a modern, design-based outfit. The... more

I read the reviews of this hotel before and after booking it and arrived a little concerned about security, poor service and being ripped off. The reality could not have been more different! We arrived and were offered a plaza mayor view room for an extra fee. The room was modern and comfortable but most importantly it placed us IN... more

This hotel failed my first criteria for rating a hotel room...Security. The "lock" on the door to our hotel room looked to have been previously broken (including the wood) and it was patched together poorly. The bottom line is the door/lock provided no security and we were just lucky that no one opened the door while we were away or... more

I stayed at this hotel for two nights last March while visiting my sister, who was studying at the university at the time. Please note that Salamanca is a university town, and it includes all the varieties of activities that students will get up to. My jet lag prevented me from experiencing any of it directly, but I heard quite... more

I booked at this hotel as it was recommended by DK Eyewitness guide & as I've stayed at several hotels that they have listed in their guide books I felt quite confident about this one. I can't think of a good thing to say about it. The room was small & it was difficult to get at the wardrobe as... more
