Silken is a well managed chain in Spain catering for the business traveller mainly. This hotel is sneaked into a fairly quiet area and looks and feels a bit 'dated' however the rooms although small are perfectly adequate for an over nighter. Road access was tricky and the private garage (Euros 10) was accross the road. But because there was restricted access to the roads around, it was very quiet. The location for visiting the sights could hardly be better and as a result we did not eat in the Hotel. The room was of good standard and the bed very comfortable.... more

This hotel is in a quiet location but easy walking to all the sites of Salamanca. The staff were helpful and there were good walking maps available. The food at the hotel was more than adequate and we enjoyed our stay. I'd stay here again if visiting Salamanca. more
