This hotel is located in the very heart of the historic quarter of Salamanca very close to the main square plaza Mayor. We were fortunate enough to have a lovely room looking out on the San Esteban Dominican Convent. The Cathedral is immediately behind the hotel. Very interesting explore by day and beautifully flood lit by night.

Driving from Roscoff, France to Algarve this was the third stopover night and having had experience with NH Hotels before decided to try this hotel. Bang in the centre of Salamanca this is ideally located for a stopover as lots of 'sights' within very easy walking distance. Salamanca is steeped in history with accordingly beautiful architecture everywhere you look. The... More

Right in the midst of the history and culture of this beautiful medieval university city this hotel offers comfort, service, history and "class". Would we recommend it? We most certainly would! Situated between the Dominican Iglesia de San Esteban and the old and new cathedrals it could not be better located.

Our room was well appointed and nice, but the little balcony had a surprize: a nightime view of the Cathedral that was incredible. The hotel is little hard to find - we were driving, but on foot it is well located to the University and other main attractions. The lobby and the breakfast and the general ambience were all really... More

I stayed at this hotel October 4th and 5th in Room 109. It was a lovely hotel with very nice staff. I noticed a few bites on my feet after my first night there but though it was simply mosquitos that bit me outside. On my 2nd and last night there the AC was not working well so I slept... More

Well I booked the wrong NH as I meant to book the one near the cathedral. However I was not disappointed. Hotel is very comfortable with well furnished rooms and bathrooms - not in the luxurious category but definitely more than "comfortable". Rooms a little dark for our liking but v clean. We had lovely views of the monastery and... More

Stayed here for two nights. Comfortable room (108) with good free basic WiFi. Large and well lit bathroom a great asset. Spacious seating in the atrium. Comfortable small and friendly bar. Breakfast well organised with freshly squeezed orange juice available. Wide variety of fresh fruit and good selection of ham and local cheese. The Hotel is very central to the... More

I stayed here with my husband and another couple for one night. The hotel was situated perfectly to explore the sites of Salamanca on foot; it was approximately an 8 minute walk to the Plaza Major. The hotel lobby was spacious and clean with a gorgeous "courtyard feel" and the front porch would be perfect to sip some coffee if... More

Hotel well located near and inside the historic center just a little bit away from the noisy tourist movement.Attentive staff, large comfortable and well decorated rooms;good value for your money. There is a parking place in the hotel, easy to go in and out. Neighborhood well illuminated ,easy to walk around. Great Hotel. Low point:wifi difficult access, even in common areas.
