Hosteria Casa Vallejo was my favorite stay of our recent trip to Spain and Portugal. It isn't luxurious, but it is clean, charming and right around the corner from Salamanca's Plaza Mayor. The staff was friendly in a natural, unassuming way. We did not actually eat in the ground floor restaurant, but it was always full, and the vibe coming... More

The hotel is clean and rooms are big and cosy. The bar downstairs offers great tapas, canas and wine. People at reception are nice as a family and offered us a nice bottle of wine to excuse wifi was not working in the room. But we could use the one, working very well, at the reception. Great position! Just few... More

Hosteria Casa Vallejo, the owner told us, was a building in the family for over a century when they decided to renovate it to become Hosteria Vallejo. They love their hotel and it shows. Very small hotel tucked just off Plaza Major .. fantastic location. Everything about the hotel is crisp and clean. We loved the bar next door which... More

Hosteria Casa Valljo - A charming small hotel in the beautiful city of Salamanca, just 50 meters away from Plaza Mayor - in the old city. I would go back anytime, it was so nice! The city, as well, is a fairytale where you can walk around for days!

The price was right for a very clean, good sized room in a great location. The room looked recently remodeled with plenty of storage for luggage. The hotel is over a cafe which unfortunately was closed because we stayed on a Sunday night. Shutters block out the light for a good nights sleep. A good choice for Salamanca.

The owners are super lovely. Nothing is a bother for them. Nicest hotel experience I think I may have had! The tapas bar downstairs is one of the best we came across. No need to look any further for a fantastic tapas experience (The restaurant below is also very good). Rooms small but clean & very comfortable. We had our... More

The rooms are really small but cosy with a Nice decor! You'll feel at home!! And if you want You can join the crowd that enjoys the tapas in the restaurant on the groundfloor! You have... More

This is a small hotel located just a block from the Plaza Mayor. It has a good tapas bar downstairs where drinks and accompanying tapas are surprisingly inexpensive. It is a great place to explore Salamanca from. Salamanca is a great city to just wander about. The older parts of town (Rua Mayor and surrounding streets) are jammed with people... More

A great place to spend two days and a night in Salamanca. Central location, the tapas bar and restaurant downstairs are out of this world (amazing food!) the room was spacious and clean. We stayed on the third floor and my only complaint was the noise from the street at night, but that's what you get when staying in the... More

I was stranded in the rain outside this hotel a few days ago. Sheltering from a storm in their doorway. The owners invited myself and husband inside as if we were family. They made us coffee and cakes and were so welcoming to us. We were not staying at this hotel but in fact at the NH Palacio de Castellanos.... More
