We were and felt very welcomed at this Parador, the staff is very kind and always willing to help. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The building is by itself an historical location and worth a visit... The only minus (and not really important to me) was the poor wi-fi in our room.

Nice hotel, nice location, good rooms, fast check-in/check-out. The hotel is in a very old historical building, overlooking a square, and some 500 m from the (old) city center. Breakfast was reasonably good, but they serve cannet orange juice, And this in a 4/5 star hotel in Spain, where even 3 star hotel offer freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast.... More

While walking the Camino de Santiago my son and I booked a room here at a great rate at the last minute on booking.com and it was well worth it for the wonderful breakfast alone. The ambiance was old world and the courtyard was a great tour on the history of the building and Spain itself. The building had originally... More

99.9% of everything here my entire family liked, even the 4 year boy. first of all, it was a very nice deal we took from booking.com, 105 euros for the accommaation and also the breakfast! upon arrival we immediately felt the warm welcome from the receptionist and she upgraded us to a suite without extra cost. hotel parking was for... Stayed for three nights in June. Charming hotel, very helpful staff, room in the old building was lovely. Restaurant was not well reviewed in the guides but we thought it was excellent, lovely food, lovely setting and excellent service. The best place we found to eat in Leon.

I’ve been told that from a visual standpoint, this is one of the most impressive Paradors in Spain and it is certainly quite stunning. The rooms are at the back. They are very ornate and have all the facilities you want. However, the red carpets in the hallways are a bit old fashioned for my taste. Both bars are great.... More

While in Leon with my wife, we visited the Parador Hostal de San Marcos. This was one of the highlights of our trip. The building began it's life to house a military order and was financed by the Catholic King Fernando. Later as a place for travelers along the famous Camino de Santiago to rest. It served these religious pilgrims... More

I stayed at the Parador of Leon twice in the last 6 months and both were great experiences. Honestly, although I could spend some time talking about the rooms, I think it's enough to say that the rooms are good with a few old style decorations but all the modern amenities one needs. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom... More

Superb hotel, architecture amazing, feeds the imagination! Service excellent, would recommend a stay here. There's plenty of history attached to the hotel, very relaxed atmosphere but professional, only sampled breakfast which was very good and a great selection / varied choice.

A good Parador, if a little expensive! We have stayed here before and will again as it is convenient for the journey to Santander/Bilbao and the Ferry. It is a fascinating old building and worth the time to look around and read all the notes on the walls. The bar is a great place for snacks / tapas, and for... More
