I have to recommend this hotel. The room was very comfortable with a great bathroom and I really appreciated the slightly quirky layout with the soaring tiers of balconies up to the beautiful art deco skylight 6 floors up. The location is very central, perfect for exploring the major tourist attractions of Leon. Cathedral nearby, an easy walk to the... More

Not far from the "old town" less then a 7 minute walk. Parking is in a controlled space across the street, a little tight if you have a big vehicle but it's manageable with patience!! Some interesting modern design details. Rooms are comfortable and an average size. Windows offer good sound proofing. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay... More

Unusual art deco features create a distinctive ambience in this lovely hotel. Excellent staff made our stay a most pleasant experience - reception most welcoming and helpful and uniquely dressed attendants made breakfast a pleasant experience. Nice, if pleasantly unusual, room - not particularly spacious but lovely view of the plaza. Breakfast not exceptional but adequate. Location just brilliant -... More

Arrived here unplanned one afternoon in early June 2012 on a motorcycle trip, having found the number in a guide book. The central location is great for a short stay as its really close to the pedestrianised historic area. That does mean parking is an issue though, even for motorcyclists. The hotel was hard to find despite being in a... More

This is a charming Art Deco building, somewhat stark and monolithic from the outside but with warm organic unity inside. Designed by a local architect Francisco Javier Sanz Martínez in 1928 and renovated sympathetically by Mariano Sáenz de Miera in 1994. it has 60 rooms on eight floors clustered around a central atrium. Rooms and public spaces are immaculate and... More

The room and hotel was fine and the location was great. The reception staff on arrival were more than rude and it appeared that we were an inconvenience as he snapped for passports etc. It was not a pleasant stay and I won't be back.

Firstly, I'll get the positives out of the way - the hotel is in a good location in the centre of Leon, although it's a bit of a walk to train and bus stations (10-15 minutes at least). Rooms are adequate, with all facilities, but small, and not exactly luxurious. There aren't really any more positives to add! due to... More

We stayed for just one Friday night, as we got to Leon for a wedding. The hotel is easy to reach and right in the center of the city. Thay have a parking but it is in a separate building right across the street and it is not suitable for very large cars (anything bigger than a 00' Audi A6... More

They couldn't park my car as it was too big (BMW 320)? the room was not clean, ripped sheets, restaurant was over priced. I can't believe this place is on the Expedia recommended list.

I stayed here with my boyfriend in June and the hotel was just perfect. It has the best location, walking distance from "El Humedo" and the Cathedral. The room was very comfortable and had a little living room. It was also perfectly clean. My only complaint would be that since it was summer, it was hot and the air conditioning... More
