A neat and tidy hotel. It is in a great location and everytihng is within walking distance. Breakfast was satisfying. Do not eat in the bar area as it was too small and the food was lukewarm by the time you received it, It was also understaffed.

This hotel was a little difficult to find but well worth the search. Reception was a little crowded but we had underground (paid-for) parking and very nice rooms. Some of the staff don't have much English but they were helpful and we were given a good pointer for somewhere to eat in the old town. Leon is a fascinating mix... More

Hotel is at the edge of the old town and across a large shopping mall (Corte Ingles) and it is a 10 minute walk to the cathedral and old centre. The hotel looks a bit run down and has seen its best days. Parking facilities (11 euro) are very good and secure. Wifi is horrible.

It may have been 4 star at some time in the past but I can't see it now. Very tired building; crappy air conditioning and a tv that belonged in the 90's (square box with average reception). WIFI was slow if you are relying on it. More of a place than a destination. No recommendations here.

Great location just a short walk from the centre of Leon, pleasant and informative staff and good sized bedrooms with all the facilities of 3 stars. There is a charge of €11 for the underground parking the only snag being it was a little confusing to find the exit! The hotel was great but I was a little disappointed with... More

The Silken's best times are long over - if they ever started. Situated in a neighborhood that is obviously one of the less fortunate, don't expect to find any restaurants, bars or shops that a worth going. Surprisingly, there is a very good restaurant on the top floor of the Corte Ingles department store (the restaurant - NOT the cafeteria)... More

This is a very lovely accommodation for a jumping off point for pilgrims embarking upon the Camino to Santiago de Compestela. Staff were well spoken and helpful; room was very clean and had all the amenities we would not be seeing for two weeks. Breakfast was a bit fast and furious in that tour buses take their folks here so... More

We spent two nights here during feria and would be happy to return next year. Although the whole hotel looks a little shabby and tired the comfort and daily cleanliness are good. It is only five minutes or so to walk to the bullring in one direction and less than ten to walk to the old quarter and the cathedral... More

Have been waiting over 2 hours for someone fix tv. Probably the same person who is trying to fix A/C and its a hot day. Think goodness we did`t pay to much, but still should have gone somewhere else and paid it bit more. The hotel is quite outdate with tv`s from 1980`s (that don`t work) as well as the... More

Very nice hotel with really nice people on the reception desk. Room was comfortable with a nice bathroom and comfortable beds. The hotel was opposite el corte ingles. The parking was a little confusing but easy to find. Leon is lovely but please do watch for people just crossing the roads without looking. The hotel had free wifi and the... More
