Real Colegiata is in fact an old monastery in the heart of the old city. So you can expect spacious rooms with thick walls, antique furniture and beautiful corridors with wooden floors. Okay, there is no minibar and no safe in the room, but what an atmosphere. Some practical information: * If you arrive close to the hotel you have... More

The hotel is a fine former monastery, attached to the church of san Isidoro, within the ancient walls of the town. In order to reach the place by car, you have to let them know in advance your number plate, and then, on arrival, telephone the hotel so that they lower the traffic bollards and you can get past. There... More

A good place to stay in that beautiful city of north Spain. An antique convent, where still live 8 priests. But they receive as an hotel, with an international breakfast, a good restaurant, a good room with two beds (I was there with my wife) two beds, natural light from a small window, access by elevator (to second floor), marble... This was our first hotel before embarking on our cycling trip on the camino de Santiago. the receptionists we encountered on arrival and departure were very friendly and helpful. the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and located within the old city walls about five minutes walk from the cathedral and many other attractions inside the walls. the rooms are a... Hotel is located within the old walls, the hotel is very old and once formed part of a monastery, good breakfast, fruit, cold meats, bread and cakes and some hot food, that's the good part, when we arrived the female receptionist was so rude that another colleague butted in and took over the check-in. in fact most of the female staff... Great location with walking accessibility to all major city attractions. Confortable, very clean and quiet lodging. Breakfast very good. Staff very proffesional and friendly. The manager's tour was really interesting. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to visit Leon.

We stayed at this Hotel for one night after arriving very late on the ferry crossing to Gijon. We had to ring the hotel, as a small barrier is installed in the evening and we were able to park within the hotel grounds. The staff were very welcoming and we were very pleased with the quality and size of the... More

This is a former monastery or convent converted in a hotel and located smack n the old León. Rooms are compact and clean and beds comfortable. Very thick walls but thin doors: one hears every noise coming from the corridor. Rooms with a window on the street are fairly noisy. The hotel offers a very good, varied and plentiful breakfast.... This is the converted hospitality wing of an ancient 'Camino Hostal' into a beautiful small hotel. Don't expect a swimming pool and sauna and a choice of bars but accept fine, large, in fact grand accommodation, friendly helpful service and excellent food. On top of this there is free secure parking in the city centre location. The Hotel is attached... More

Absolutely fanstastic accomadation in place of old monastry. Although thick wall not allowed to have wi fiin the room, wide varity of breakfast compensate this. Location just in the center, stuff are very helpful.
