The hotel was great. Friendly helpful staff at the front desk, parking was easy in the garage underneath the hotel at €12. I booked a reservation at this hotel while walking the Camino de Santiago as a break during a one month walk. The reviews on Tripadvisor were the main reason I booked this particular hotel. We enjoyed our one chilly night in Burgos. We were greeted at the hotel with a smiling face, and with our Spanish being rusty, we were able to communicate in English and some Spanish so that was nice for us too. Unlike one recent reviewer, we had no problems at the Cabildo. Our room and bathroom were spotless with fluffy towels and lots of hot water. A small balcony gave us a bird's eye view of the paseo below. We found the reception staff very helpful. They gave us recommendations for three great restaurants in the old town. more

We stayed at this hotel for a weekend break in Burgos and we thought it was great! Location is perfect and the service - just like a 5*! Rooms are nice and the hotel has been renewed very recently. Burgos is a great city to explore! more
