Our only problem with this hotel was locating it from our Camino guidebook at the end of a long walking day. Locals, once more, came to our rescue and we are grateful to the elderly gentlemen who escorted us to Reception. Situated in the old quarter of Burgos, La Puebla is minutes away from the Plaza Major and Cathedral and... More

This hotel is centrally located however the room was so small that I had to climb over the bed because my suitcase was on the floor since there was literally no room for anything. It was downright claustrophobic. I'm not sure why they would give a couple such a small room I later found out from one of the guests... More

Although the hotel is quite well located to the sights, the service in this hotel was the worst. the night girl tried to be helpful but spoke no English. The girl on the morning shift was down right rude, unhelpful, ignored guests and generally should not be in the hospitality industry. Breakfast was very late and substandard when it was... More

The woman at check in was friendly and helpful but did not speak much English so brush up on your high school Spanish. The room was clean and efficient, if not large, and although on the street, street noise was not an issue. The downside included having to ask to have the heat turned on, no hot water in the... A small and charming boutique hotel that is centrally located. Large and beautifully decorated room, bathroom, and with a sitting alcove. Very helpful staff who arranged an in-room massage with a local masseur to ease my aching Camino pilgrim muscles and bones.

Great location for sightseeing etc. Spotless and very comfortable room with a great shower, almost like a wet room. Lovely staff. Buffet breakfast not included in the price, but for 6 euros was well worth having for convenience if nothing else. Double glazing kept out the noise from the street below, as did the very heavy curtains. Only issue for... More

We were in Room 108...around the corner from reception...quieter than I expected. It was not street side...request that you are not street side if you want a quieter room. Room was very, very small. No place to put our bags. There are two bedside tables but one blocks a cupboard. You have to move it to open the door to... More

Delighted to find La Puebla in the centre of downtown Burgos. Very sweet stylish 3 star hotel. There are cheaper options but love the environement that has been created here. Small rooms but they have been cleverly constructed. Nice linen, great hot showers and a buffet breakfast far superior to most breakfasts available in Spain; cheese, ham, tortilla, cereal, breads... We stayed here over the holiday weekend with the intent to see the cathedral. The hotel was in a terrific location, very close to the main plaza and also to the cathedral. However it was dead quiet at night (unusual for Spain). The place was very nicely done over with exposed wood floors and a hip, mod look. The one... More
