We stayed here in July for a couple of nights. The courtyard built around the cloister is just beautiful. Rooms were large (ours fit an extra bed for my daughter), modern, and clean. Breakfast looked good but expensive so we skipped it. Reception was really nice. They gave us a quiet room overlooking the courtyard as we requested. Reception was... More

Stopped here one night while traveling back from France. The hotel is beautiful and we enjoyed the town of Burgos and its impressive cathedral. Rooms were a good size and the breakfast buffet was the most impressive one I have seen in a hotel: would go back just for that! DELICIOUS! More

Ask for room with view over the cathedral. Beautifully renovated hotel, with nice modern furniture, big bathroom and great in-room dining. Huge range of food at breakfast and in summer served until 1130am. More

We had an attic room with a skylight as view No water for a few hours around bed time. Very dirty bathroom floor. Dust all around the bed. Cheap, blue tinted energy saving lamps that were too big for the shade and so blinded you. A mockery of safetu. Fire doors in the underground pa rking were blocked as to... More

We stayed here for one night in August, I booked based on the location but noted reviews complaining about service with some concern. The location is fantastic and the hotel is beautiful. The breakfast was unusual and the waiting staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, this hotel is let down by very rude, unprofessional and unhelpful reception staff. There was... More

Stayed here for several nights during a month long trip to Northern Spain. Picked it for it's location, and NH hotels generally have a good reputation (although we usually try to avoid the hotel chains). Hotel was very easy to find, on the main street along the river, and unlike some hotels the underground parking lot provided was easy to... More

we stayed en route to Santiago as a break from Paradores. If only NH would take over the management! the reception staff were very friendly and helpful, as was the breakfast service (plus the best breakfast we had in Spain). Rooms were great, we had two, a standard and a superior, and the small supplement for the superior was well... More

Stayed here for 4 nights to attend the (excellent) Castile music festival. Requested double room facing the rear, well in advance. Given a twin room facing the road. No iron available, you can send clothes away to be pressed for a hefty fee & a 24 hour delay. 25 degrees but no aircon on as "it wasn't summer". Added to... More

Easy to find and very close to the Old City where you'll probably do most of your sight-seeing and eating out - literally, across the road from the city. (If by car, look out for the hotel's own car park 20m or so to the right of the hotel front door - drive in, find a place and take the... More
