We were driving from Alicante to Santander and were looking to stay somewhere to break the journey and chose Burgos. Having set off later than anticipated we did not arrive until 8.30pm. We found the hotel easily enough and made use of the on site parking. Check was efficient and the room very spacious. Although the hotel building is old... More

This is a perfect choice to enjoy the old city, close to the Cathedral and restaurants. The staff was very dedicated and courteous. Our "premium" room was a bit small, but quite comfortable and well appointed. All in all, the Palacio de la Merced is a bit pricey, but well worth it given its standing and perfect location. Note that... More

Loved the Palacio de Burgos - looks amazing on arrival, friendly, helpful staff, very welcoming lobby, and fantastic rooms. The rooms have wood floors, tastefully decorated, including a love seat at the end of the bed, perfect for resting in front of the TV! The bathrooms were great, well constructed, organized nicely - excellent! The breakfast was amazing as well... More

We booked this for an overnight stay. The hotel itself is very beautiful and it felt very luxurious for the price we were paying. The rooms were HUGE for European standards and the bathroom was spotless. We had the breakfast in the morning, which was lovely and our kids had many choices to pick from. We have seven and eleven... Booked into this Hotel for a Overnight stay on our way to the Ferry Port in Bilbao. It was pure pot luck we found this one, it could have been any. The deciding factor was this Hotel had Parking. Which did cost an extra 18 euros for the night. The room we were given was over looking a Court Yard... More

Stayed in Burgos for a few days. The hotel is beautiful and the staff friendly and attentive. I really liked the room, but I couldn't for the life of me get it to a good temperature, even after opening the window. The room was very warm and it just wanted to stay warm. I understand that might appeal to some,... More

Converted building felt quite luxurious. Facilities were well maintained. Our room was very comfortable and serviced well each day. Staff were attentive and easy to deal with. Check in/out with our group was very efficient. It is located just across from a main entrance to the old town. Good running routes along the river just across the street.

It is a... More

This is an important unusual hotel, being a converted monastery. They've kept much of the original, which means it has good atmosphere. It is in a great location just across the river from the main sights. Our room was large, more darn and comfortable, though the bed was rather hard. Sadly, the air conditioning didn't work but the staff were... More
