In walking distance to the Cathedral, Plaza Mayor, shopping and .....the Camino de Santiago is right in front of it so you can say you've walked it:) Loved the old building feel, room was clean, somewhat small for three adults. We were on the first floor and had no problems with noise. WiFi was slow and did not always work.... More

This hotel is a short walk from the main cathedral in Burgos. It has it's own long history, from the turn of the last century. It does not have air conditioning but the summer nights in Burgos are normally cool so that was not a problem. Wifi functioned well from our room. The bathroom was roomy and all rooms have... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights to rest up and sightsee while on the Camino de Santiago. The position of the hotel is fantastic, you are right where all the sights as well as the entertainment and eating are. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, the place itself is a beautiful building and spotlessly clean. They do... More

I paid 70 euros for a room in August. My tiny room was filthy (mold in the bathtub, cigarette burns on the bed spread). I was put in a room overlooking an alley. A vent from a nearby restaurant was immediately outside my window, making the room suffocatingly hot. When I opened the window I was also treated to disgusting... More

This beautiful, fin de siècle building exudes charm and elegance. No photo of it does justice to the impressive yet understated lobby, beautifully furnished and appointed. This is no mere façade - the rooms may vary in size but are faithful to the Victorian era of the original hotel, comfortable, with wooden floors. Free wifi and a modern bathroom ensure... More

I love this place. It provided just the level of comfort I needed to recuperate from very bad shin splints acquired on the Camino. I hobbled to the reception desk and there was Teresa, the front desk clerk and resident angel. After securing me a room - 50 Euros per night - she helped me book a physio appointment for... More

We planned on staying here two nights and then husband tripped down stairs and ankle swelled up preventing driving we stayed a third night. This additional night was organised with little fuss. Well positioned hotel with really friendly reception staff prepared to humour my dodgy Spanish !! There is a bit if noise at night but this can be largely... More

We stayed one night. Room was small but clean as was bathroom. Shower head was facing toward shower curtain very powerful and bathroom ended up very wet. Breakfast was included in rate and was ok. I found it was a noisy location as you are near center.

finding this hotel a lovely place to stay. In the old part of the city very close to the cathedral, there are shops and restaurants to visit. The bathrooms are delightful and the bed is comfortable and there are lots of extra blankets in the cupboard.

this hotel is used by elderly pilgrims and it is quite old. Unfortunately the comfort is outdated. The furniture in the room is 100 years old, small bed, old bathroom, no airco etc. Friendly staff. No parking and difficult to reach as the hotel is located in a trafic free zone. The location is excellent for visiting Burgos. Breakfast was... More
