We stayed in Fontecruz Toledo for a night in December 2014. It was an excellent experience for they value and truly a 5 star property. We enjoyed all of the little extras, from the cozy deep bathtubs to the convenient location which is an easy walk to everything: notably the Cathedral and Jewish neighbourhood. We felt safe there and walking... More

We stayed in Hotel Fontecruz for two nights in November 2014. Hotel is situated in the palace belonged to Countess Eugenia de Montijo in historical center of Toledo. Since hotel is in the real center it will takes only five minutes to get the cathedral and Romanesque churches by walk. It will take about fifteen minutes to get Alcazar with... More

The Fontecruz in Toledo is an excellent choice for a hotel if you want to be right in the old town section of this beautiful and historic medieval town. On a quiet street, but just steps to the main cathedral, it has a beautiful lobby where you are welcomed by a very professional staff. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed,... More

This is a gem of a hotel---clean, big rooms, helpful staff, good beds, close to the major sites of beautiful Toledo. The cost was reasonable for our three night stay. The taxi ride from the train station to the hotel was quick and inexpensive. We'll stay there again on our next visit to Toledo.

We enjoyed staying at this former palace of Empress Eugenia de Montijo, and we loved Toledo ! The historic area of Toledo is perfect for walking & exploring. We loved walking all over, visiting the nearby cafes and tapas bars. Don't miss the phenomenally magnificent cathedral. The hotel is charming, located in a quiet, residential area. It's within a 5... Nice location, but I'm not coming back. The room was booked for 2 persons, but there was only 1 towel. We discovered this at 23:50 and phoned down. No answer. Phoned several times, no answer, until the phone was just disconnected (what if we had a fire or medical emergency??). Went downstairs, found the receptionist serving the bar, asked for... More

The public area of the hotel is attractive and the staff is helpful. Our room held a queen size bed which took up most of the narrow width of the room. So if you're looking for a large space you may be disappointed. We spent most of our time walking around the historic area so the room size was fine.... More

We loved our stay in this hotel and can't say enough about it. The location is excellent, underground parking is available, the hotel is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The front desk staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The town itself is a must see. After a very long day of walking and shopping, we always looked... More

I debated where to stay in Toledo and could not have made a better decision. Beautiful hotel, fantastic room. The bathroom was very large and the shower was great. Breakfast was very good as well. Noemi at the front desk was very professional and helpful. I would highly recommend the Hotel Fontecruz.

Last week I just spent one week at this hotel for business but it was a really nice experience . Front desk, Marta and another man, are extremely helpful and friendly. Really comfortable and nice room with deluxe details such as having complimentary Harper's Bazzaar and Esquire magazines. Luxurious bathroom. Really complete and nice breakfast. Really in the historic district... More
