We were so lucky to find a room in this hotel. We hadn't made a reservation and someone had just cancelled theirs, so we were in the right place at the right time. It's located right next to the cathedral, so you get to sleep near a world heritage that's centuries old. The rates were excellent, the room was very... More

Staggered at just how central this place was : literally right next to the cathedral’s Lion Gate entrance. Once the tour groups from Madrid had left in the early evening, it was wonderful to watch the swifts flying around from the tiny balcony. The room is small, but characterful with exposed beams. The only irritation was the shower, whose head... More

My mother and I rented a twin room for 2 nights in October and we couldn't be more pleased with the location and choice of "Casa Cisneros" !!!! The Cathedral is just two steps besides and the Hostal really well located, no noise at all !!! We were given the room #4 "Cardenal Fonseca" and I could say I've never... More

First of all, I'd like to start this with an apology it too so long to write. My wife and stayed here last year on our honeymoon trip to Spain. While we stayed at larger more luxurious properties (and far more $$) the Casa is one of our two favorite places we stayed. It's an amazingly historic property that gives... More

I really enjoyed everything about this hotel. Great value for what you get. The rooms were cosy and atmospheric, the breakfast was nice and the staff were really friendly and helpful. You are made to feel very welcome here. All the rooms are named after various cardinals or bishops and its all wood inside made a classic atmospheric feel while... More

If you are going to Toledo you MUST stay at this hotel because there is no other hotel like it in probably the whole world. You will be staying in a piece of living history and the owner includes a tour that takes you down to Roman and Moorish ruins underneath the floors of where you are sleeping. It is... More

A small and family run hotel with an excelent location. It's set on a XVI century bulding where the old Cathedral workers used to spend their nights: you may almost touch the walls of the Toledo Cathedral from the front rooms. A very friendly atention that might end up in a tour through their archeological excavations of an older muslin... More

Right by the cathedral, this lovely old hotel has unique and comfortable rooms with exposed brickwork and beams, all built round a former and glass-roofed courtyard. The restaurant is in the 'excavated' basement, with the walls showing traces of previous Moorish and other buildings. Really good 'home cooking'. The owners are extremely pleasant and helpful. Toledo is a must-visit Spanish... More

We stopped in this place for a bite to eat after touring the Cathedral. The restaurant is located below street level, which makes it very interesting. It has a glass floor over old ruins of a muslim palace. You will not forget this place. The service was great and the food portions were generous. Prices were very reasonable.
