Small boutique type hotel. situated in the delightful walled city of Toledo. We had two nights here in order to sightsee and the duration was the right amount of time for us. The hotel couldn't arange parking for us but they do have a piece of ground that other residents were luckier at reserving. We discovered that there is free... more

We spent three nights at Hotel Abad this month (April) and found it to be a good choice for a long weekend. The location is excellent, less than ten minutes walk from the cathedral and the Plaza Zocodover and within walking distance of all parts of the Old Town. It's about 20 minutes walk from the train station as well.... more

We stayed for 1 night on top floor roof room in July 2007. The room was nice, cozy room. The staff are nice, we parked a car for free just near by. (just up the hill on your lefthand side) However it was horrible experience to stay. Because the room airconditioning was not strong enough to keep cool down us... more

Sadly this is the first bad review we have ever done. The position of the hotel is quite good but is situated on the main thoroughfare which is noisy throughout the night. The hill to the town is daunting but as the all the buses go up the hill, walk down the street for 100 yards to the bus stop.... more

Unbelievable location next to the old city walls. Walking distance from the train station (if you know your way and don't mind going up. But, again, if you don't like steep streets and stairs - don't go to Toledo at all). Romantic room with exposed weathered beams, quite adequate, since you are not going to spend much time there anyway.... more

I really wanted to like this hotel...it looked very charming in the photos on the web and the reviews were positive. Unfortunately, there were numerous problems: the hotel is located on a noisy street with traffic that does not let up even very late at night. The air conditioner was very weak and it did not help that the bed... more

We stayed here as a bit of a treat after a fairly exhausting bike trip and the hotel was a pleasure from start to finish. It's well located next to a big ancient gate, so relatively easy to find (in a city which is built like a maze). It's BEAUTIFULLY decorated - our room was a fabulous mix of old... more

Good location. Easy to walk to from train station. Easy to explore entire town. Staff very helpful, made arrangements for private guide who is waiting when we checked in. Breakfast is a good value. Would stay there again. Price was reasonable. more

This is a little jewel of a hotel in Toledo, conveniently located next to the Puerta del Sol and a little staircase away from the old mosque. It's a short walk to the main Plaza. The hotel's vibe is one of peace and good taste. The sleeping area and bathrooms are large with good amenities. The hotel is well-designed and... more
