We booked for two couples and a baby. Cot provided for baby. Lovely traditional Spanish building, former convent, with lots of old attractive furniture. Leafy interesting garden with fountains and interior courtyard. Only problem was bringing luggage up the many steps. On arriving the courtyard was nice - until you realised the huge amount of steps needed to be climbed with cases and no-one around to help. Toledo seems to be a big wedding venue and the hotel was booked out for a reception which started around 10pm, had fireworks at 2am and was still going at 4am...not the greatest way... more

The location is very good being just outside the city walls but the attraction is the interior which is impressive with some lovely furniture and pictures. We enjoyed the unique grounds and very comfortable room facing the courtyeard....but without any serious negative experiences. The windows provided good soundproofing.
