Location: Great location. Off away from the noise of Plaza de Zocodover. Easy to walk to all the sites. No one lingering under windows chatting or laughing.
Hotel: Very very basic. It is clean, but this is an older hotel. It is a room with a bed. The man that runs the hotel is a wonderful person. Very nice, seemed...

I chose this hotel simply because it was one block from Plaza de Zocodover. And it was incredibly cheap. Yes, the mattresses were hard and the rooms incredibly small. But really, it was more than comfortable for my wife and baby to easily fall asleep every night. Plus, there are some incredible restaurants right around the corner. The front desk...

A good, simple hotel in an excellent location for walking and exploration. The rooms are plainly furnished with tiled floors and shutters on the windows, which keep everything cool. I stayed in room 301, on the top floor with nice views of the street. The rooms beneath this would also be good. The air conditioning is a little bit loud...

The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly. The first room he gave us had a king-sized bed with a peach colored bedspread that was stained in various places and had hairs everywhere on it. The shower had black mold in the corners, the toilet hardware on the floor had an orange ring around it and the toilet would...

I will get off my chest the only true problem I had with this hotel.. Rick Steves recommended it and claimed they have Air Conditioning. We visited in Late May, and it was 85-90 degrees during the day. Well.. hotel staff informed me that air conditioning does not get turned on until June. No fan, almost unbearable! Other aspects.. great...

We stayed here 1 night. The location was great, one block from Plaza Zocodover. There's an excellent cafe/cafeteria downstairs that's open early for breakfast and lunch and serves huge bocadillos and decent coffee.
The hotel met our needs, but I'm not sure I would want to stay there more than a night or two. It was quiet, clean and cheap....

We spent just one night at Hotel Imperio on our recent trip to Spain and would say that this hotel has a very good price/value relationship. We rented two rooms since there were five of us (two adults, three children). The rooms were clean and perfectly serviceable, while the people at the front desk were very nice. One warning ---...

Great location, just next to Plaza Zocover. Easily walkable to cathedral. Very cheap and good value, but quite basic. Aircon. Quiet. Cheaply priced cafe/bar immediately adjacent.
We emailed the hotel directly and made reservations with a credit card, but you need to pay cash at the hotel.
*** We arrrvied VERY LATE to Toledo after missing our flight from Vienna to Madrid. I called the hotel from Vienna to inform them of our late arrival, they said someone would be waiting for us. To my delight,...
