We wanted to stay here for two nights, but they were full on the first night and we had to stay elsewhere. The move was worth it. We upgraded ourselves to a room on the fourth floor which had a big balcony and the most fabulous views across the Tagus valley to the historic city of Toledo itself. The room... More

The parador in Toledo is on a hilltop just across from the City. It would be a very long walk, but a cab is not expensive. Believe me, the view is worth it. The hotel is modern and perfectly maintained as we found all of the paradors to be. From our room we could see Toledo, which is built on... More

We spent three nights here in April. It is a good Parador. It has amazing views and the rooms are good. The food is the best of the five Paradors we have stayed in. Service was good too. You will need to factor in lots of taxis to and from Toledo which will cost between 7 and 11€. They add... More

We spent two nights at the Parador de Tolado. Without doubt, the view from the terrace is as good as it gets. Our standard room was spacious, luxurious and quiet and our private terrace was enormous! Breakfast was standard fare for Spain and better than many hotels. We ate a very acceptable meal in the restaurant on one night. The... More

Short version of this review: stay and eat somewhere else. This is a luxury hotel that feels like a US business hotel. If you are expecting a renovated romantic castle overlooking Toledo you will be disappointed. The staff were surly, the food was boring, and the hotel felt more like a Marriott in Toledo, Ohio. There is no WiFi in... More

My wife and I arrived quite late at night. This hotel was chosen somewhat at random at the last minute. It seemed quite nice but not special ---- until I woke up and drew the blinds. The floor to ceiling window basically perfectly framed the medieval city. Perhaps we had the room with the best possible angle, but the view... More

We loved this hotel, with the stunning view of Toledo. You can pretty much enjoy the same view as El Greco 400 years ago. The city is essentially the same. The staff were very pleasant and efficient. We arrived from Madrid at 8:00 am and were provided with our room! Very nice. Get up "early" by Spanisn standards ....8-8:30 and... More

I don't need to explain the rooms of Parador have so amazing view of Toledo city. So peaceful and silent places and I could be relaxed enough. I you drive a car, very east to access to the city. Breakfast is 18 euros and so disappointing. Just some piece of bread, ham and cereal. Even some cookies are not homemade... More

Our room was typical of what I have found at other Paradors, clean, air conditioned, enjoyable. The pool on a hot July day was a treat. Dinner outdoors on the patio is a must - the food was excellent, the restaurant staff was a pleasure and the view of Toledo at night was stunning. We were disappointed to find that... More

On a hill overlooking the city makes it serene but requires a bus, taxi or drive to the old town to sight see. Not luxurious, but perfectly adequate. Good breakfast, good bathroom, nice people. Our room had a balcony with chairs overlooking the incredible city of Toledo.
