We know Toledo well but this was our first stay in the parador, booked through Keytel UK at a very competitive rate. Our room was large, clean and well equipped with a huge comfy bed, nice toiletries and excellent wi fi. Poor tv channels though, at least if you're British. We didn't eat there but instead drove down to the... More

It is a nice hotel with spacious room and wonderful views from the balcony to the old city of Toledo. We enjoyed to stay there. Since it is about 10-15min. drive from the Toledo old city, I may not want to recommend to the folks without a car. The main restaurant is good, too. It is nice and luxurious to... More

I saw pictures of the views online, but they did not nearly do it justice! Highly recommend a room with a view of the town, even if a bit more money. The balcony has impeccable views at all times of the day, sunset, nighttime and sunrise. Breathtaking! The staff was incredible friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was simple, yet satisfying... More

Pros: spacious room with city view Cons: location, staff, food The hotel is located outside of the city. You have to take a taxi to get to the hotel or the city. The room is very spacious and has view of the city. Some staff gave me attitude. The hotel food made my husband and I sick.

Dear Sir/Madam, First of all, I am really sorry about your dissapointment with our service. We are extremely surprised that you didn´t tell us anything about such an important thing as a sickness because of our food. I would be very grateful if you send me your contact and booking details and try to see what happened and deal with... More

The rooms are spacious and each has a great view of Toledo from the balcony. We enjoyed the sunrise and sunset from our private balcony. The desk staff were very helpful. We left our car at parador parking and took taxi to downtown every day. Before you make reservation become an "amigo" of the paradors and get a better price... More

Stay here if you want to know how the Spanish aristocrats would have lived in olden days. Great view from the patio. Nice rooms. Has a pool. Breakfast is good too. Free parking on site. Paradors are excellent places to stay when in Spain.

The hotel itself is acceptable. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The staff at reception and in the cafe could all use a lesson on friendliness. We were not greeted with a friendly attitude which we were expecting. Our reservation was screwed up from the beginning. We were suppose to have two rooms but they had us listed as... More

To date, this is the first Parador I've found that gets the decoration "almost" right. I understand fusing traditional castillian design with modern lean decoration can be difficult, but the hall of this place is the prove it can be done brilliantly. Unfortunately not so much the rooms. The views are absolutely stunning. Get a superior room and early in... More

A typical parador of Spain, the Parador de Toledo is across the river from the hilltop city. The views from the bar and restaurant are wonderful. We had a very nice junior suite and a great view. I am lowering my rating from 5 stars to 4 mainly because the restaurant is fairly "pricey" and it did not cater well... More

Our room was comfortable with all amenities although extra pillows would have been a nice addition. This parador has magnificent views overlooking the beautiful city of Toledo with all its beauty and charm. We couldn't fault the breakfast buffet but have had better Spanish food at home so wouldn't highly recommend the restaurant for dinner. Staff were personable and professional... More
