We stayed here with our 19 year old daughter in mid June 2015 for three nights. The whole atmosphere was serene and quiet, very restful. There is a fairly large outside parking area and an indoor garage as well. The staff were welcoming, informative and always helpful. The pool was a delight on hot afternoons and there were enough loungers.... More

After being let down by the hotel Cigarral de Caravantes, who along with two other couples, were told on arrival that our booking had been cancelled. They did transfer us all to the Hotel Abaceria, just a few minutes drive away. This was a much better hotel with more car parking spaces, including an underground car park and all for... More

Our SatNav had difficulty finding the right turn off and tried to take us onto a road which we could not confirm existed. However, once we got there, there was a free underground car park for us, essential in summer. There was a slope and steps to the main entrance which could prove challenging but we were rewarded by a... More

We were toying with the idea of staying in the Parador but just couldn't justify the cost for the length of time we planned to be in Toledo, so we picked the Abaceria as it is on the same hillside and the views are amazing. We were not disappointed. The rooms are basic and clean, the bathrooms are more than... More

A group of us spent 1 night at the Hotel Abaceria as a base to explore the historic city of Toledo. The best feature of the hotel is the views of the city (especially at night) from those rooms with a view. The hotel's location is a bit of a distance from the city, and up a hill so walking... We stayed just before Christmas & our visit could not have been better. The hotel is easy to find, just head up the big hill a mile or so outside the town. We were given one of the rooms with balcony & superb view of the city. Try to be there at sunset! As noted elsewhere, the local bus runs... More

The hotel is located right before entering the mainland of toledo and about 10-15 mins from the bridge over the river that connects the two. We visited toledo for a day so this hotel was a great option. The rooms are clean, a bit old though with the furniture. However we complained that our room smelled like smoke and they... More

This hotel is just outside of Toledo and the views from our room were spectacular, especially with the morning sunrise. Parking is free. There is a bus stop very nearby that you can use to bus into Toledo. We missed the bus back but fortunately the taxi ride back was quick and less than 5 euros. (Be sure to double... More

We stayed here during a conference and were delightfully surprised at the facilities, the meals and the gorgeous overlook of Toledo. Being outside of the city on a hill provides for some captivating scenery of the historic city and also provides a quiet and relaxing ambiance. They have a lovely pool which during the summer is lifeguard patrolled which makes... More

A very beautiful and clean Hotel. Just 5 mins drive from Toledo. The staff are friendly and keep the hotel in tiptop condition. Pool was always clean as well. Breakfast is very good with a large selection of food. I will recommend this hotel to people who want to visit Toledo, Avila and Segovia.
