Thought the hotel was very over rated from other reviews. Difficult to,get to particularly if you have luggage. Our "Superior" room was mediocre given the cost and the shower cubicle had a door missing . The room was probably the smallest we had stayed in during a two, week trip around Spain. Breakfast was OK . Not a hotel I would... More

When we arrived there wasn't anyone there to let us in, this was no problem for us, we had purchased a mobile phone when we got to Spain, so we rang the manager from the front door, he greeted us in a matter of minutes, I work in accommodation so I understand that sometimes places cannot be manned every moment.... We booked this hotel well in advance after reading reviews. However, after traveling by train and taxi to Toledo, and marching up a steep hill with our bags ( because it's not accessible by car) No one was present to greet us! In fact, the hotel was locked up! We tried ringing the bell to no avail. Since we are... More

This hotel is wonderful. We booked this last minute after another booking fell through and are so glad we have gotten to stay here. The room is huge with a great new bathroom..tea and coffee making facilities provided, quiet...oh so quiet...comfortable bed. Incredible roof terrace overlooking all of Toledo. Black out shutters on the windows. Love love it. My only... More

Due to checking on Google Earth beforehand, both the parking and the hotel were very easy to find, even though the Almunia was tucked away down narrow alleyways. When I arrived, the front door was locked, so I rang and knocked for a time. The door was opened by two Welsh ladies who had arrived the previous day (Hi, Jan,... More

Really a gorgeus place to stay! I will remember this charming building and our apartment for long time... At a reasonable price we had the pleasure to stay in a guesthouse that looks like a mix of a 5stars luxurious hotel and an elegant private ancient mansion of medioeval times ..Our apartment ( more than just a room..) had a... What a cute hotel! The staff was very gracious and we had the rooftop terrace to ourselves last night. We enjoyed a bottle of wine while the sun set beside the cathedral. I loved the art and the beds were very comfortable. Our server at breakfast this morning was very cheery, and the nut cake was delicious! Thanks for a... More

Charming little hotel in the Toledo, lost somewhere in the old city. Beautiful. The reception very friendly. You have to park near, (there is a public parking). Do not take the car in the narrow streets. The hotel offers a 30% discount in the parking.

This lovely inn has lots of character, filled with antiques and art. The Almunia is located on a narrow pedestrian street but very close to the main square. Our taxi driver from the train station knew exactly how to find it, and once there, Enrique provided a map and great directions so we could always find our way back. We... More

Very nice hotel, a bit hidden, so not very easy to find, although very close to Alcasar, in a narrow street. Charming and stylish hotel, Moorish style (reminds a lot of Moroccan riads), old furniture (and the hotel in need of a little refurbishment in general), a lot of details, lovely. Very clean room, though not very big (bathroom also... More
