Hotel Chiqui is in a lovely location at the end of the beach. However, it is a short bus ride into town and the fare is only 1 euro for wherever you want to go. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly. Gets very busy at the weekends as they have a lot of functions going... more

Stayed here in July 2008. We only booked a few days before we arrived. Got a 'double' room (two single beds!) for 100 euro per night. Our room was adequate. It was small and clean with a sea view but didn't have a balcony or air conditioning. Wireless internet access is available in your room for 6 euro per day.... more

Hotel was recommended to us by friends - and it is in a brilliant location, overlooking a huge, spotlessly clean beach. Just a 6 euro or so taxi fare or 30 min walk along the seafront from the centre of Santander - (which is a great city) and 22 euro from the airport. All in all our three night stay... more

We had a drink at the Feve station cafe when we arrived on the bus from the airport on a damp Sunday night mid Feb. (Termini always have great cafes). Called on spec after travelling up from southern Spain by motorbike.Stayed over on Sunday night prior to catching the Monday ferry. Receptionist was brilliant and could not have been more helpful.
