This was our 3rd visit in two years. Always beautifully clean with helpful staff. Always makes us smile as we look out to sea from our balcony sipping a glass of wine. Would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed for two nights. Rooms booked through Brittany ferries, both had balconies. Ate in hotel cafeteria, food reasonably priced and good (salads especially). Would stay again as proximity to beach a real plus. Popular with the Spanish, appeared to be the only English staying. Air conditioning would be good. WiFi fast for us.

Location is nice, reception is lovely, his restaurant has the option to delight you with typical food in a gourmet experience for an affordable price that isn't expensive. Now, breakfast can be improved, the regular menu list serves regular food and the rooms are way too regular. The water pressure of the shower was the minimum needed to take a... More

Given the location (right on the beach) I can understand the price of the rooms but apart from that there was really no standout elements. The rooms were quite small with no air-con making them ridiculously stuffy. We requested a double bed and got two singles pushed together. I normally don't mind this if they're made up as one, but... We have stayed at this Hotel many times and always return. However we visited at a very busy time and found the hotel and car park to be extremely busy. We had a nice room on 3rd floor with fantastic views over the beach. However our general impression was that the bathrooms are now getting tired and are in need... More

Our last night in Spain before catching the ferry, arrived at possibly the worst time ever, 3.30 pm Sunday afternoon, when it seemed that the whole of Santander was having lunch their, we opted therefore for the secure basement parking, as there was simply no where else, 11 euros seemd OK. What we did not know was that the entrance... More

We spent a week in Santander at Chiqui Hotel. Very nice hotel. Our first room had no balcony w hich made it feel very small. Requested a balcony on day two and one was available for €11 per night. Well worth the extra money and fab views. Food and drinks on Terrace very good and well priced. Restaurant was so... More

Wonderful location just in front of the sea which can be admired from the balcony of the room. The hotel is clean and pretty. The cafeteria/restaurant has nice terrace. However, the lack of air condition is unpleasant since the climate is hot and humid.

We spend two nights on the 3rd floor with great view from the balcony. Hotel staff are all very serviceminded and friendly. The room was small and simple. No aircondition. Nice looking but not well working bathroom where the floor gets flooded when you shower no matter how carefull you are. The water won't drain and the toilet runs. You... More
