This is a well located business hotel a few minutes from the promenade and a good base for a short city break, if you don't need the facilities of a bigger hotel. Rooms are compact, the small double is really for single use, but they are modern, clean and well appointed. Breakfast was good. Staff were very helpful.

Interesting little hotel to review. It's right in the middle of the city. 2 mins walk to the bars and restaurants. The rooms are very small but clean and the bathroom found space for a tub not just shower. Beds are not full double size from the rooms i have seen. Rooms can be a little noisy in the morning... Stayed here for a few days before heading off to see relatives in central Spain. Cantabria is a regular destination for us as a family ( for the beaches, scenery and food) and as we had travelled over on the ferry from Plymouth, this hotel was ideally situated. As other reviewers have said, this is a standard three star hotel.... More

The hotel is conveniently located between the city centre and the beaches both of which are about a 10 - 15 minute walk away. The rooms are comfortable if a little dated, but mine was very clean and had everything I needed including wi-fi. The breakfast buffet was good and the breakfast room bright and pleasant. The hotel doesn't have... More

On our way back to the UK and were looking for a pet friendly hotel near the ferry terminal and this one fitted the bill. Clean and comfortable room of a descent size. Good sized fenced grounds made it very good for exercising our 2 dogs. It isnt mentioned anywhere on booking but the dogs were charged 12 Euros each... More

Asked for no smoker room, got a smoker room. The staff is friendly and kind, but they are a bit unprofessional, do not seem to know what they do and are not able to solve problems. But do their best, it must be said. Cleanliness should be improved: the room wasn't dirty, but there were hair in the bathroom. Hotel's... More

Within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the sea. No AC, but it was a cold May weekend so not needed. Because of no AC we had to leave the window open and it got very loud at night, traffic and, I think some people were playing a game right outside our window, very loud The staff on checking in... A typical 'new' hotel with standard rooms and decor, but clean and comfortable. It was well within easy walking distance of the restaurants and bars near the ferry port. Breakfast was fairly typical for the style of hotel, unexciting, but plenty of coffee. The main advantage was the small garage that was secure and undercover for our classic cars and... More

It was very good located, excellent value/price Avoid the breakfast, and get it at "Cafetería el Pilar", just one minute walk. They have an excellent choice of sandwiches, tortilla, and a la carte breakfast for incredible prices for your breakfast or brunch. The owner is kind and very honest (prices they do not go up to foreners). Parking at the... More

The room is very reasonable and comfortable. The location is good - at the edge, just outside the old town area, and close to shopping and restaurants. But teh lasting memory was the breakfast - it was poor, please avoid. It was pretentious - something along the line of select ingredients for detox and power boost for a good day... More
