I have already written a review about this lovely hotel. However, I just would like to clarify that the restaurant I mentioned was not called La Taxi, but LA RADIO. Excellent hotel, rooms were clean, just the floorboards did make a little bit of a noise, but nothing to complain about. The breakfast was adequate enough, and plenty of car... More

I stayed here for 1 night in Santander. The hotel is in a fairly good location with a lot of restaurants nearby. It is old but well maintained. The room was fine along with the bed. Wifi was free and good. The shower was great and the breakfast was good as well. The service was fine. Parking was free and safe.... More

We stayed here on our recent tour of Spain. It is not too far from the ferry terminal and very close to the outdoor escalators which lead you to the city centre. We had a little difficulty finding it with our Garmin but got there eventually, great car park inside a walled enclosure. Friendly welcome from the receptionist who had... More

Fell on it by chance as our daughter is at the university and has a flat on the same road. The staff we encountered were efficient and friendly, the buffet breakfast was excellent and the room was warm and spotlessly clean. The hotel has a really nice ambiance, a mix of new and old done out really well. Our room... More

as we were returning to the u.k. via the ferry after a eight hour drive through spain,we needed to stay over night before the next day, looking on booking.com, this hotel look ideal, and it was, there is an enclosed walled car park, there were people walking through the grounds the next morning, but not presenting any problems, the gardens are a... We chose this hotel on price, availability and convenience for a first overnight stop after the Ferry crossing. It was not easy to find in a very long road with few house numbers, but we found it on the second pass, tucked away behind a small entrance gate! It is a Training college hotel but out of term the restaurant... More

The sat nav found the hotel and the walled car park was good. Initially the trainee receptionist gave us a room that had an unmade bed but on our return we were given one on the 1 st floor that opened out onto a 1 st floor terrace over looking the pretty garden. We took advice and got he 5... More

My husband and I drove up from our home in Portugal last Easter time, 2012 and found it easily. We had chosen it as it was reasonable for the one night we wanted to stay on our way out to Britain on the ferry - and later back again for one night before we drove home. Our room was old... More

We enjoyed our stay during a cool month of the year- September. I didn't see any air conditioner and the windows can be difficult to open. So it might be a bit miserable in a hot month. But for a cool month, the place was very good. We had a good sleep. The continental breakfast was satisfactory. The staff was... More

Considering this hotel has ties to a hotel/food school, I was surprised at the below average level of service. The reception person was not very friendly at check-in or check-out. The breakfast selection was lacking and did not appear to be attended to. Lightling in the room was poor. Noise from the roadway was loud. I do give the housekeeping... More
