Just returned from a week here. Wonderful hotel, great facilities, food and very friendly and helpful staff. Should be a 5 star but probably not snobbish enough .The rooms and everywhere in hotel very clean, and hotel has recently been refurbished and all in tip top condition. Buffet breakfast and dinner always .offered plenty of choice and to high standard.

Be aware that this is really a mainly german staying clientel, but the standard was very good, with all you could eat breakfast and evening meal, lots of choice and plenty of it. A very nice hotel with large rooms, excellent and elegant spaces all over the hotel area. Nice garden with fantastic trees and flowers. The dining room very nice with friendly staff. Just got back from riu garoe and can't wait to go back. A wonderfully peaceful location with surrounding walks with stunning views. The hotel is well designed and very clean. Good food and friendly staff. Shuttle bus to and from town is good. Definitely going back next year.
