We had not booked this hotel but it's sister hotel 'la carabella' which is just around the corner. On arrival we were told the only room left was a basement room which we were shown, it felt dark and a little damp, they kindly offered us a 3rd floor room at the Pez Azul which we accepted (it was 3am... My son and I stayed here for 10 nights. Was worried after some old reviews on here but we thought it was lovely. The room was clean, the maid came every day bar Saturday. You definitely get what you pay for so don't expect the Ritz. The room was a good size, 2 comfy single beds. Small table & chairs... More

I stayed recently at Pez Azul in Puerto de la Cruz. I have to say the best value hotel I have ever stayed at in puerto. The room was clean, staff friendly, large swimming pool, bed's comfortable. About a 15 minute walk down to city centre, which was a great excuse for a nice walk! A little noisy at times,... More

Clean but basic. More facilities in a YMCA. Food in restaurant is crap don't bother. Pool good n clean. You need to be a mountain goat if u want the beach or town as there is 154 steps down to contend with also the hyper markets are at the bottom so you will have to drag your shopping back up.... More

We booked the Pez Azul for a cheap week away. It is in a great location, up the hill away from the centre, which is only a 10 minute walk down the hill or steps but nice because you're far away from any noise of the centre. Our room was on the 3rd floor street side which was perfect as... More

Very clean hotel, all staff were very friendly, only down side was noise from pool area as some of the younger guests were very noisy, had no consideration for others, food was plentiful if a bit repetitive but as we are plain eaters this didn't matter. If we go again would definitely ask for room at front as much quieter.

My husband and I booked a late deal to go to Tenerife where we had not been before. Had a great time. Our apartment was on the 3rd floor, and had everything in it that we needed. It was very clean and serviced daily, apart from Saturday. The staff all spoke english and were very helpful. The whole hotel was... More
