I stayed here in January 2014. The Miramar is a budget hotel. You get what you pay for, which is why I wasn't expecting much. My room was clean and simple. The towels were always changed, and the room was always cleaned unless we instructed them not to. We had a view looking towards the sea and town. You have... More

This hotel is not 5 star but is defiantly worth a stay. Set in a beautiful location. I read the reviews before I went and was dreading it, so I was very surprised when I arrived. We were on the 8th floor with views of the gardens, pool and see. Surrounded by mountains, Palm trees and waterfalls. The staff were... More

We stayed here Las November and it was awful. The room was grubby, stains all over the carpet, peeling paint and poor standard of fixtures and fittings in general. Ensuite was ok. Meals were very school canteen like. On a plus it forced us to go out and about a lot and the area itself is lovely.

We found the Hotel clean and decorated with good soft furnishings. The bedroom 408 had a lovely view of the sea. We had the beds made every day and the room cleaned. The staff were ok if you spoke to them. The food was good mainly salad chicken and fish with rice and pasta. The drinks wernt so good home... More

This is my account of the 3 night's I stayed at the Hotel Marimar. On arrival to reception we had to wait 10 minutes for someone t appear at the desk and the man hardly said a word of welcome. On arrival to our room 212 we were surprised at the state of the decor. We found cracked glass in... More

The main Tenerife resorts are dotted along the South side of the island. My hotel, Miramar, is on the North side. The N.side is far greener and more historical. Puerto Cruz is a smallish (I come from London, so it practically felt like a village) working town as supposed to a purpose built resort. There are lots of pretty public... More

Holidaying with family threes for the fifth year. This hotel is to appreciate visited on three-star hotels in Majorca, Crete. So this seemed the worst. True, it has its own uniqueness, equipped with a retro style. Vintage furniture, walls - ancient maps of Tenerife. Next to the reception is a space where you can comfortably on armchairs and sofas to... More
