Have stayed here many times and like the friendly staff, some have been there for years, and the situation close to many restaurants and shops etc. New owners maybe don´t know, it costs money to make money, so there are things, that are annoying and could be changed for a small amount. Needs anti slip mats in the bath. We... More

Firstly let me start by saying this hotel is rated a 3star well this certainly is not the case! 1star is about all i could give to this hotel, the hotel is date & rundown paint peeling off all the walls, and as for all inclusive this should be half board only, the service is appalling, the staff rude, and the bar in the... When we arrived the room was dated but clean, fab view of the beach from the balcony but also of a derelict building. Room was cleaned every day, clean towels and beds made so couldn't fault that. Food was very basic and mainly salads, bread rolls were more like brick rolls most days. Selection was poor and most of the... More

This hotel is not worth the money you pay to stay there. The food was awful, I am aware that different people have different tastes, but, I can only give my opinion. The hotel mainly caters for German and Spanish tourists. There was no entertainment in the evenings for the whole week that I stayed there. For an all inclusive... More

Having read the many negative reviews, we still decided to give this hotel a try. And we were very pleasantly surprised. The staff worked hard and were most helpful - the reception staff, the waiters and waitresses in the dining room, and the room cleaners all made efforts to satisfy our needs. Yes, one person did frequently double-up as bar-person... More

Booked this as a last minute holiday through a well known travel firm. We were sold it as all inclusive but as previous reviews have stated there were no snacks or ice creams for children during the day, meals were at set times & were rather limited in choice. We arrived late at night having had a delayed flight &... More

I was in such a mess after reading the reviews of this hotel that I tried to change my hotel a week before. After being quoted £350 to change I decided to keep our reservation and make the best we could. I was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and cleaned daily. The beds were new and clean. The pool... More

First let me start by saying this is the first time I have ever been compelled to put a review on here and I have been to some terrible places in my time - but this takes the biscuit. Firstly we arrived at 9.10pm and were told the meals finished at 9 but there was a McDonalds up the road!... More

Just returned from two weeks at Palmeras Playa (which we were dreading after reading negative reviews) and had a great holiday. Yes, the hotel is in need of refurbishment but was not as bad as it was made out. Our room was cleaned daily and towels and bedding were changed. This is definitely a European hotel which caters mainly for... More
