The hotel is well situated in the centre of Puerto de la Cruz. The staff were friendly, efficient and welcoming. Don´t expect to find luxury. This is a simple hotel. The patio is spectacular. You really feel that you have been in the Canary Islands. Our room was large and we had a good sized bathroom.Linen was clean and towels were changed daily.... More

We were attracted to this hotel three years ago because it’s in an 18th century Canarian house and love the foyer which is an enclosed courtyard surrounded by balconies. It’s also conveniently situated in a pedestrianised area only a few minutes walk from the sea and close to shops and cafes/restaurants. Our room was clean and comfortable with plenty of... More

We were anxious to stay in this hotel because the reception area is beautiful, with typical Canarian balconies and it is in an ideal location. The room we were in (on the 4th floor) was very shabby! No fridge, air con. tea making facilities and , more serious, no hot water, unless you ran the tap for 15 minutes! (and... More

Just back from 11 nights at this excellent hotel. it is in the centre of town, not far from the beach, the main square and all of the other amenities (including the free tram to Loro Park) and the only steep hill is the one to the bus station. We really enjoyed our stay and if we are ever back... More

Went on a budget deal half board. Location central, and convenient for amenities. Bedroom comfortable and spotless, with good sized bathroom. Breakfast buffet decent choice, but long waits for replenishments of the cooked dishes. Evening meal buffets were in the main dire! Select with care! Cheap doesn't have to be tasteless gloop.House wine is good value. You need it! Dining room is... More

Stayed here with my wife for a week earlier this month, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Had stayed here once before, more than 30 years ago, so knew what to expect. Fact that it is so old means there are some limitations. Electrical circuits need upgrading, but not easy to do in a building like this. We had a balcony room... More

We stayed at the end of March for 10 days. We have visited Puerto de la Cruz many times and stayed at the H10 tenerife Playa, but this time we decided that we would like to stay in one of the oldest hotels in the area. Don't get me wrong the hotel as you go in the foyer is lovely... More

Our first trip to Tenerife, stayed 24th Feb to 1st March so five nights, B & B basis. Delighted with being right in the heart of Puerto de la Cruz old town. Loved the frontier/Mexican style interior. Room basic but fine with decent bathroom. Loved spending time on the terrace sipping espresso and reading The Times! No wifi in the... More

We're just back from a 2 week stay in room 413. We asked for a room with a balcony but realised that unless we paid the supplement we couldn't have one ( we decided not to bother - good job too because the weather wasn't balcony weather!!) The room was good - a great view of the square and the... More
