The hotel is a kind of eighties old school nursing home resort. Meals are awful and Staff is quite rude unless you speak german. Our room hasn't been cleaned 3 days/14. We had to request every time. Towels were changed in a strange way - sometimes all of them sometimes only the big ones. We had a WC brush only... More

Pros: Clean, nice place, 5-10minutes walk to sea and attractions, cheap, staff speak english, room was rather large Cons: Food wasn't great (was getting breakfasts only though, maybe dinner are better), but wasn't bad either, just a standard breakfast buffet and there are plenty restaurants around. If you want to go northern Tenerife I do recommend.

Stayed 3nights in September, family of 4. (3yr old and 1yr old) The rooms were large and we had ground floor room facing the main road but we had no problems with noise. There was a smell in the front entrance, wasn't sure if it was the bathroom or outside smell, but once inside the main room you were fine.... More

Hotel is sutuated in a quiet place in Puerto de la Cruz. If I could describe it in one word it would be a Paradise. Hotel has a wonderful exterior. You can feel yourself like being in a tropical forest since you come in. There are many rare plants growing in hotel territory. Hotel was built 40 or 50 years... More

This so called four star hotel is far off the mark and has faults at every corner. Unless you speak any other language other than English the staff give you the impression that they do not want to talk to you or do anything for you. The room we were given on arrival was at the back of the hotel... More

This is still a good hotel for those wishing a quiet holiday. Having stayed here some 3 years ago I was most disappointed in the decline of standards, Melia need to do some staff training and examine the quality of some products. The 2 staff members that did stand out were Carlos and Rosa from the bar, nothing was too... More

My husband and I were disappointed with this hotel as soon as we arrived. Already from the entrance we knew it would be dated and once we stepped into the reception area, this was confirmed. The grounds, pool and breakfast were all lovely but the accommodation was very disappointing and we expected more from a Melia hotel. Wifi and charge... More

We went there mid august, we arrived at 4am, and we were given our key to our home, which has a lot of stairs on the way, it was hard to carry all the suitcases, some help would have been nice. We were lucky to have two bedrooms and two bathrooms, very clean. The only let down was the food,... More
