We had a ground floor 1 bed apartmment booked direct with the owner, but sourced via OwnersDirect.com. A home from home, with all you need utensil wise and a proper cooker with oven!! Clean and a good size and only a few mins walk from the beach front and beach itself (Blue Flag for the last 20 years!) down a set of steps. Staying here would cause problems with anyone who has mobility issues, as the alternative is to go via the road which, whilst it has no steps(!), is in places almost as steep!! There appeared to be a few younger permanent Spanish residents at Tagara as well as more mature German ones. The younger Spanish did occassonally seem to go in for a "who's got the loudest bass" when playing music, but this never lasted long. Playa de la Arena is a lot quieter than it's neighbours Las Americas and Christianos, so anyone who wants all night bars and pumping music will be disappointed.
