We stayed here for 9 nights, absolutely fantastic although would have preferred a first floor apartment as having a 18 month old toddler running round wasn't easy with no wall to stop him escaping from the terrace! Food fantastic, staff very friendly, rooms cleaned daily. Pool chilly but very clean pool area cleaned morning and night. Don't book 2 star... More

We decided to have a quiet week away in Lanzarote, so after a bit of browsing we settled on the Guacimeta Apartments in Mata Gorda. The location was nice, not to far from the airport, close to the beach and shops and more importantly, quiet. When we arrived there was nobody on reception, our key was left in the restaurant.... Apartments of adequate size, with separate bedroom .a lounge/kitchen with a fridge two ring hob and a microwave cooker and all equipment needed for self catering. a small sofa and coffee table. It had a TV that was a little pointless for most guests, as it had only one Spanish only channel. and a poor picture. There was a similarly pointless telephone... More

2nd time here, just as peaceful as before, we stayed here in September 2013 and came back again May 2014. good transfer, no bus just get a taxi. Unlike Benno 1688's comment the pool has been refurbished and is cleaned every day, how do I know this, because I swam in it every morning at 8.15 am after the pool... More

Went to the Guacimeta the apartments are at the back of the resort which makes them nice and quite about 800 meteres from the beach. the apartments themselves are small compared to most I have stayed in, I would not want to be in with more than two people, they are just ok, they are kept clean and the grounds... We stay at Guacimeta a couple of times a year ~ it is the perfect place for a relaxing break in the sunshine, close to a wide selection of bars & restaurants in Matagorda, and further down the road in Puerto del Carmen. The apartment was spotlessly clean as usual, and cleaned regularly throughout our stay with fresh towels provided... More

We have been to the Guacimeta many times and have always had a brilliant time - the staff are so helpfull and can't do enough for you - the Restaurant is great too, you wouldn't have to leave the complex at all. Barbecue night as much as you can eat for €0 and the wine €2 a glass! Will be... More

Just returned from a fortnight in Guacimeta Hotel Lanzarote. Lovely quiet complex. Rooms cleaned regularly and towels changed every other day. Some of the furniture in the rooms needs updating and the pool area needs a lick of paint. Ideal for couples who want a nice relaxed holiday but not for kids. If you want night life it's an easy...
