Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for a week in September 2013 and we loved it. We're both 27. The food is AMAZING in the hoel, Michelin star quality, we were staying half board and the menu was changed daily, it was table service and the waiter was really really nice. The food was very fresh and delicious. All of... More

The recent reviews we have read of this hotel are very fair and balanced. It is a small peaceful island and during our tour, we saw no other hotel to compare with the Parador. It only claims to be a three star hotel and it certainly lives up to that rating. There has been past mention of poor sun beds... More

Secluded location, room facing the ocean, waves pounding outside - wonderful. Agree with other reviewers that the woodwork and sliding doors (that do not close fully) need attention. Other than that our stay was excellent. This is by far the best accommodation on the island. Rooms furnished to a good standard and bathroom very good with good products. Very peaceful, beds... We stayed here for a couple of nights in April 2014. It is a quiet place, pretending to be sophisticated. We found it nice, but a bit 'boring' even for a 63 and 74 years old. Staff is polite, their English could be better (but our Spanish too). Pool area is just satisfactory, there seems to be little maintenance there.... More

Stayed over the Easter Break with my husband and 15 year old daughter which here in the Canary Islands started on Thursday as today is a normal working day. From the day we arrived till we left everything was just perfect. The staff are all extremely polite and know what they are doing! The hotel is in a secluded location... More

Stayed for 8 nights in March 2014. Rooms with even numbers face the sea, those with odd numbers back onto the car park/mountain. Definately worth having a sea view room (providing you can sleep through the crashing waves). Rooms were well serviced but we had a problem with the glazed doors leading to the balcony. These would not close and... More

We were here for 5 nights. Car hire from Cicar at the port was quick and efficient and we arrived approx 15 mins later. Dinner finishes at 10.30pm so using the 5.30pm ferry from Los Cristianos is not a problem. The hotel overlooks the sea and rooms with that view are available for extra. Our balcony was very windy though!... More

We stayed at the Parador of El Hierro for 5 nights after Christmas till 3rd January and celebrated New Year in the Parador. The parador is located in a very beautiful spot at (almost) the end of a dead end road. You can only reach the rest of the island through a short, small one lane tunnel. A traffic light... More

We stayed here on the last night of our walking holiday on El Hierro. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful and all the staff we encountered were extremely polite and friendly. The room was excellent and very clean. We had a seaview room and were able to sit on the balcony and relax whilst watching the crystal clear sea... More

We visited El Hierro during our holiday in Tenerife (we got a bit fed up with all of the people there) and found the hotel very nice! We had a warm welcome and then went up to our room. By the time we wanted to eat, it was already 10 PM but we were able to anyway. The food did... More
