This is a wonderful city break hotel with all the attributes of seaside position. It does have the sea view balconies facing due west but the sun won't reach you till late in the day - especially in the winter months. The balconies on the opposite side provide one with morning sun but you must be a few floors up... More

Just about to return home, having enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The Spa has been a real bonus. The restaurant food, which has plenty of choice and excellent freshly cooked options, has added to the experience. Occasionally the bar staff seem overwhelmed by the work, but are always pleasant. Excellent position, right on the Playa de las Canteras.

Location very good - directly on las Canteras beach The lobby is impressive and the beach side entrance .We stayed here for 12 nights the room was disappointing - tired and poorly furnished and drab definitely needs refurbishment The balcony with sea view we had paid a supplement for but apart from the nice view towards Tenerife we had no... I stayed here for three weeks, two in a single room and one in a double with my wife. Both rooms were of a reasonable size, clean and comfortable, The single had only a shelf rather than a desk so writers beware. Both rooms overlooked the car park and a quite busy road; the hotel was full so upgrade to... More

this was a birthday treat to provide some winter sun. The sun didn't actually oblige in Las Palmas itself but the island has enough microclimates to meet anyone's needs. A warm welcome with running location tips, lovely large room (albeit feeble shower), great location, FANTASTIC spa and a feeling that you were valued made this perfect. Perfect example - we... More

We have stayed in Las Palmas several times before but this time decided to upgrade to the Reina Isabel. We are very glad we did as the weather has been most disappointing and we have spent more time in the hotel than we would have wished. Our room, at the back of the hotel, above the street, is very spacious... More

Just returned from the Reina Isabel. There are a lot of really good things about this hotel, wonderful location, friendly staff and excellent food choices. But the North of the island does not have aa much sunshine as the South and this affected the enjoyment of our holiday. Also our sea view room never got any sunshine, so if that... More

I have stayed twice at this hotel The first time I was lucky and had a fabulous sea view room This time I had an awful view of a road and buildings. The food is good not great and I feel the rooms and furniture are very dated. Location is good and staff friendly. Enjoyed the spa facilities.

The hotel is excellent, close to the centre of Las Palmas, handy for restaurants, on top of the beach. The rooms are adequate, we choose not to have a view of the Ocean, and instead having a year round Ocean view, prefer the sunnier aspect at the front overlooking the car park. The staff are excellent, the breakfast good, but... More

This hotel is ideally located right on the promenade along Playa de Las Canteras and within walking distance of lots of restaurants, shopping etc. The standard is in line with its 4 star qualification. We had a large sea view room with a balcony; unfortunately there was a large sun terrace in front of our room for use by other... More
