Elevators did not work properly. A bit too noisy and gym, pool open far too late for business people. Location is good. Hotel rooms are ok, but "made in the 80ies". This a 3 star and not 5 as some prospects state at least at the hotel. Staff friendly and helpful, breakfast good and overall price I paid was acceptable.

Do not think that this is a real five star hotel. The comments made by other reviewers like Michael W and Catherine M are more or less correct. The breakfast was great! The restaurant verry poor! The sundeck was big enough (facing to the west so no sun but shaddow in the morning). Swimmingpool not heated. The location is good... More

We have stayed on Gran Canaria a number of times and had previously researched this hotel as somewhere different to stay. As we were visiting the city we thought why not check it out, we were so pleased we did as this has stopped us making one monumental mistake. What we had envisaged was a top hotel in the city... We stayed here for one week in January, to say its average is correct, certainly not 4*. The hotel was old and worn, in need of redecorating, very tired decor, the stairway was old & shabby & the carpet in the dining room needed cleaning badly. The pool area looked nothing like the one advertised in pictures, it had very... More

Good location, nice and friendly staff, good breakfast and wifi coverage all over the hotel. In addition to the hotel being literally on the Las Canteras beach in downtown Las Palmas with all it's restaurants and bars this hotel would be your preferred choice. Nice big rooms with good and comfortable beds, and half of the hotel facing towards the... More

The hotel is situated just steps from the beach, promenade and many restaurants. The rooms are nothing special but I wonder why anyone would want to spend much time in their room while in Las Palmas. Service at the front desk was excellent. The breakfast was very good. A good variety of food and the automatic fresh orange juice machine... More

The location right on las Canteras beach is fantastic, pick a room with a sea view as this is the only reason to stay. The room has no atmosphere. Room was spacious, but average. Small tv, no minibar (fridge with water bottles only). Definately not a 5 star hotel, definiatly not good value for money. The breakfast was below average,... More

We celabrated New Yers Eve in Las Palmas this year. This was our first stay at Hotel Cristina. Except for the elevators everything was satisfying. The brakfast was very good. Fresh orange juice every day! We forgot to bring our camera from a restaurant in the Vegueta and the nice ladies at the front desk successfully arranged so that the... More

My thoughts are almost exactly the same as the previous reviewer from Lancaster. The location is ideal and we had a very good room overlooking the beach. However to summarise:- Positives Great location Overlooking beach Breakfast pretty good with fresh orange juice maker. Staff at breakfast very helpful. Negatives The lifts are a disgrace.not working half the time. Close too... More

Location is perfect but that is the only thing. This hotel has a very varied clientele. There are business men, holidaymakers (mainly Scandinavian) and yachtsmen. There are no porters or concierge. The room does not have a directory of services so you have to ask at reception for anything you want. There is no price list for the mini bar,... More
