I was only here for 3 nights but would have been happy to stay longer. A very clean comfortable hotel in a great location with very nice and helpful staff. Just step out of the hotel and within 10 seconds your on a lovely sandy beach with tapas bars along the promenade.

The good things about this hotel are the location & the rooms are ok & clean. The bad things. Terrible swimming pool & freezing! Very ordinary breakfast. Not enough staff, always too busy to deal with you. The worst & most dangerous lifts I have ever seen. I almost got hurt on several ocassions & at some stage, a child... More

The hotel is located in a very conducive area, offering a magnificent view and diverse restaurants and bars. But the hotel condition was very poor, torn and stained carpet everywhere, electric sockets are broken and some are exposed which could be a health hazard. The breakfast was awful, the same all through the 7 nights that I stayed with the... More

I have stopped in this Hotel on several occasions during the past year, I find it's location ideal as it's right on Las Canteras beach with access to lots of good restaurants and bars. I particulary like that the sheets and pillow cases are changed every single day! Staff are very friendly in particular Magdelina on Reception who speaks very... More

Stayed in May 2014 not 5 star treatment; poor atmosphere; worn/stained carpets;swimming pool not in use for 4 day so the sundeck & presumably the spa was closed - poor information about local visits - we had to go to another hotel to get better information;faulty doors to lift which we mentioned and staff did nothing; no tea/coffee making in... We visited Las Palmas at the end of May 2014. The visit was whilst we were in the south of the island as a treat for my partners birthday. The hotel is located right on the promenade of the Las Canteras beach and centrally positioned in the bay to give you outstanding views across the water and towards Tenerife. To... More

The breakfast as okay but i would have wish for more and it have a strange system when it comes to te, coffe and milk. The pool is not warmed... More

Stayed here for 4 days at the end of November. We had an older style room which overlooked the city side. Although the decor wasnt to my taste (being a little old fashioned) the room was clean and the beds comfortable and giant! I was on the 5th floor so did not have any problems with traffic noise at all.... More

Nothing special - but great location. We had a refurbished room, airy and looked nice but the sofa (fake leather) was disintegrating and leaving black bits everywhere. Another month or so and this will need putting in the skip. Balcony needed shade/parasol and somewhere to hang beachwear. Good choice of food at breakfast but hot food never reached actual hot.... My daughter and I and her three grown children spent last week in the Cristina. As she is a busy lady she booked the accommodation without much ado. When she had time to read some of the tripadvisor reviews we were somewhat concerned! We need not have worried as, in the main, it was a grand hotel with 10 Floors.... More
