Pros: Friendly & helpful staff, Nice spacious clean room, bed and bathroom, Great sea view (upon request), Free Wi-Fi & TV, Beautiful Pool Area, Close proximity to the beach, shops and restaurants, reasonable price. Cons: The lifts are bad! Just bad! Hotel has a parking facility but it is almost impossible to find without guidance from the reception and unless... More

This is my second visit here and this time it was better. The hotel have great location exactly at the beach and modern okay room. The room is well clean except that it was always sand in the bed even they say that they change bedclothes every day. This time they not either had free water in the minibar as... More

I have stayed here several times on business. I return as its a good location, right near the beach with a promenade with plenty of bars/restaurants. The hotel itself is generally OK, nothing special. Generally in need of a renovation. The lifts are slow. The staff are always helpful and friendly and the breakfast is alway quite impressive. From a... More

On a business trip so didn't spend too much time in the hotel but it is well situated on the beach and a promenade a long the beach area. Plenty of nice restaurants within walking distance. Turn left along the promenade and keep walking until you see a restaurant with a yellow sign (sorry I forgot its name) staff welcoming... More

The location is great and the rooms are good as well but the ambience of the hotel as soon as you enter is not good. No basic amenities in the room provided like a kettle or an iron. The lifts are really bad, better to use the stairs otherwise you would be waiting for too long. If some basic improvements... More

We have been holidaying in Las Palmas for over 27 years (not just there!) and the entire beach front area has improved beyond compare. We stayed at The Cristina last week and have to say it did seem to have had a deep clean, the wall paper was gone and all freshly painted. Even the glass on the balcony was... More

I've stayed in the Cristina Hotel for many nights. I can recommend it for people who don't mind weariness, and value great location and price over luxury. The hotel is located next to the Las Canteras beach, and the view from the rooms facing the beach is beautiful. Nearby there are many restaurants, kiosks, and stores. It takes only about... More

Great sea view, that's all that is good, lifts lousy, peeling paint in shower ceiling, outside hotel shrouded in plastic to cover up poor condition. Human faeces on pillar outside reception, says it all (see pictures). The night we stayed it was very windy and cold, had to use the chairs in the room to stop curtains blowing open.

The elevators are terrible and should be replaced. At peak times you wait for ages, sometimes they skip your floor entirely, the doors open and close very quickly so you often can't even get in. Swimming pool is not heated so can't be used much of the year. Our main concern was the very intrusive staff who kept hammering on... More

Elevators did not work properly. A bit too noisy and gym, pool open far too late for business people. Location is good. Hotel rooms are ok, but "made in the 80ies". This a 3 star and not 5 as some prospects state at least at the hotel. Staff friendly and helpful, breakfast good and overall price I paid was acceptable.
