A wonderful historic hotel, oozing character, located midway between the old town and Las Canteras beach. Ideal, if like us you enjoy walking, if not, buses & taxis are plentiful & cheap. All staff we encountered were professional, courteous and helpful. Most of the interior public areas and the exterior are stunning, with preserved original decor and fixtures & fittings.... More

We have been here the two last years, five days each time. The hotel was opened in 1890, and I like to think that very much of both the interior and the exterior looks almost the same. This is a beautiful hotel, in a beautiful setting. Next door, in the park, you will find the Museo Nestor, the museum that... More

This hotel is a beautiful old hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable. The cocktail bar is excellent. The restraint serves excellent food but is a little cold as most of the tables are in an outside area heated with patio heaters which are not very effective. The hotel is located within a very beautiful park. Overal a classy hotel.

We have just returned form a one night stay in this hotel. We have stayed here several times over the last 4 years, we live in the south of the island and we won't be coming back! Every time we revisit it gets worse, and this time was the worst of all, here's why:- When we arrived we were quite... More

The old world charm is served up a treat in this gorgeous building. Second time we have stated here and it's become the annual essential. Old Town is closeby. Cantaras Beach and shopping 20 minute walk away. Restaurant is very good with all the 5 star elements you would expect. If it's total originality you want from a hotel then... More

I am a business traveller and I spend 70 to 80 nights per year in hotels. The reception personal at the Santa Catalina had been very nice and competent. Actually, this was my impression of all the personal of this hotel. Unfortunatly the beautiful building hasn’t been renovated for years and years. The rooms are worn out at all places,... More

The hotel is just a cut above the rest in that it exudes class, history and luxury. It's not on the main beach front, but taxis are really cheap and to be honest I'd rather have stayed here and zipped over to the beach area when I wanted. The room was really nice, with a little balcony and very clean... More

My family and I stayed at Santa Catalina for 4 nights and loved every minute of it. The room we were in was bright and spacious, overlooking the garden. The staff were professional but friendly and so willing to help with whatever you needed. The rooms are clean and not cramped, nice comfortable bed too. The breakfast is decent with... More
