The hotel has a very large history and you can see that right from the first sight when you arrive. Our room was beautiful (view to the park in front of the hotel) and very comfortable, although you have to say that a renovation is due to some parts eg. the bathroom (but nothing to complain about during a 1... We have stayed there for one week this spring and we have enjoyed every single minute there! Rooms are spacious, terrific breakfast with different freshly squeezed juices every day. SPA centre with indoor and outdoor pools, free underground parking place - everything worked perfectly! We had a room with balcony facing the park, so I've spent a lot of time... More

This is a lovely old hotel with a real sense of style. Lots of wooden paneling and thick carpets. The rooms are not up to the standards of a 5 star hotel in a big European city but they are good for the island. We upgraded to a junior suite as we know we would be spending quite some time... More

I stayed for one night in the Junior Suite with my partner. On arrival the service at the reception was extremely poor. The woman dealing with our check-in was very rude. A smile and an hello would have been nice, she looked very unpleased to be working there so it seemed. The room, the Junior Suite was very spacious and... More

The hotel was palatial from the outside right up to the reception, but once you went further, i.e. the rooms, all I can say is, they should spend some money on them, as the spec in the rooms are NOT 5 star. The rooms were on the small side, it had an awkward shower/bath, and the balcony was in serious... More

Traveled to Spain with fiance in July 2013, lovely holiday and would recommend to anyone planning a lazy poolside holiday. The site has good facilities although can sometimes feel impersonal. A wide choice of restaurants are available just a two minute walk along the beach which made for lovely nights out when we fancied a change from the hotel.

We were not expecting modern up to date styling, instead hoped for a Grand Dame of hotels in a good location. We were not dissapointed. So rare to find a hotel were the traditional styling, features and service are intact. The room (sea facing, floor four, huge balcony) had everything we needed for our one night stay. The bathroom was... More

I've spent there 2 nights as a short break from traveling through Western Sahara (flying in from and out to Laayoune). Let's start with the place itself: A beautiful building with lots of woods and a great little park in front of it. The piano bar in front of the hotel has very comfy seating arrangements and the beautiful plants... More

Best hotel with the traditional feel I have ever been too. Loved it and will definitely go back. Delicious breakfast, service, location, pool, restaurant. Perfect for a romantic and relaxing holiday. Old town within walking distance - 15 mins. Will go back.

Beautiful hotel in quiet location being very close to the harbour with its excellent restaurants. We had a lovely room overlooking the pool terrace and the sea. Excellent and attentive service with a can do attitude...nothing too much trouble. We enjoyed the lovely breakfast with a wonderful selection of delicious cold foods including two types of salmon, great cheeses, breads,etc,... More
