I stayed for one night in the Junior Suite with my partner. On arrival the service at the reception was extremely poor. The woman dealing with our check-in was very rude. A smile and an hello would have been nice, she looked very unpleased to be working there so it seemed. The room, the Junior Suite was very spacious and... More

The hotel was palatial from the outside right up to the reception, but once you went further, i.e. the rooms, all I can say is, they should spend some money on them, as the spec in the rooms are NOT 5 star. The rooms were on the small side, it had an awkward shower/bath, and the balcony was in serious... More

Traveled to Spain with fiance in July 2013, lovely holiday and would recommend to anyone planning a lazy poolside holiday. The site has good facilities although can sometimes feel impersonal. A wide choice of restaurants are available just a two minute walk along the beach which made for lovely nights out when we fancied a change from the hotel.

We were not expecting modern up to date styling, instead hoped for a Grand Dame of hotels in a good location. We were not dissapointed. So rare to find a hotel were the traditional styling, features and service are intact. The room (sea facing, floor four, huge balcony) had everything we needed for our one night stay. The bathroom was... More

I've spent there 2 nights as a short break from traveling through Western Sahara (flying in from and out to Laayoune). Let's start with the place itself: A beautiful building with lots of woods and a great little park in front of it. The piano bar in front of the hotel has very comfy seating arrangements and the beautiful plants... More

Best hotel with the traditional feel I have ever been too. Loved it and will definitely go back. Delicious breakfast, service, location, pool, restaurant. Perfect for a romantic and relaxing holiday. Old town within walking distance - 15 mins. Will go back.

Beautiful hotel in quiet location being very close to the harbour with its excellent restaurants. We had a lovely room overlooking the pool terrace and the sea. Excellent and attentive service with a can do attitude...nothing too much trouble. We enjoyed the lovely breakfast with a wonderful selection of delicious cold foods including two types of salmon, great cheeses, breads,etc,... More

This is a wonderful old colonial hotel set in fabulous grounds, it has a beautiful spa attached to it with a nice pool/bar area above. It is conveniently located near the town and two beaches. A truly five star hotel but you must look at it through the eyes of the 1930s with a modern spin. We would definitely stay... More

The hotel was great. The rooms were large and grand with a king size very comfortable bed. In fact I found it too big because we lost each other in it. Whilst the hotel was very clean and they they mopped and cleaned the sheets everyday, but for a 5* I expected lamp shades to be dusted down (had a... More

I had the illusion that the whole island is for sunshine and beach which turned out to be absolutely wrong. It takes 40-50 minutes by car to get to popular seasides at the south. The hotel itself, though apparently facing the seaside, did not provide any convenience in terms of commuting. The breakfast is lovely and fresh but tends to... More
