I really loved staying at this hotel. It was like sitting in the bar in an Agatha Christie film or Casablanca, and the excellent staff added to the feeling of old grandeur. Buffet breakfast was excellent and extensive and in such a pleasant room. Lunch and evening menus were excellent. We started with a problem with the aircon in our... More

We stayed in this hotel for 10 days last December and we will be staying again this year in the same period. Hotel is very old, but that is what we like. If you are expecting to stay in a modern space hotel with minimalistic style, this hotel will not be your choice. There is a pool that was a... More

An old but dignified hotel, with style. Impeccable service and the personnel with fantastic attitude and pride. breakfast was excellent, and so is the food in the restaurant. The cosy terrace bar is also worth visit. Clean rooms.

Stayed 4 nights at the hotel. Rooms clean and well appointed. Room service exceptionally quick. Good food and reasonably priced. Friendly helpful staff. No complains at all. However it does not compare to typical 5 star hotels..neither in terms of quality of decor, furniture, facilities etc nor in terms of service. Still good value for the price. 20/25 mins from... More

This iconic hotel is the best hotel in Las Palmas. Yes, rooms may be dated but overall service, quality and excellence make it top of the class. Reception is top notch, efficient and courteous, breakfasts super and housekeeping of the first order. Bar Carabella and the Terrace provide ample "people watching" opportunities. Having spent a wonderful fortnight here I cannot... More

We stayed at hotel Santa Catalina for four nights, and we very much enjoyed it. As the hotel was fully booked over the weekend due to a wedding, we got a very small and dark room for the first night. However, after requesting to change to another room they put a lot of effort into getting us a nicer one.... More

The hotel has a very large history and you can see that right from the first sight when you arrive. Our room was beautiful (view to the park in front of the hotel) and very comfortable, although you have to say that a renovation is due to some parts eg. the bathroom (but nothing to complain about during a 1... We have stayed there for one week this spring and we have enjoyed every single minute there! Rooms are spacious, terrific breakfast with different freshly squeezed juices every day. SPA centre with indoor and outdoor pools, free underground parking place - everything worked perfectly! We had a room with balcony facing the park, so I've spent a lot of time... More

This is a lovely old hotel with a real sense of style. Lots of wooden paneling and thick carpets. The rooms are not up to the standards of a 5 star hotel in a big European city but they are good for the island. We upgraded to a junior suite as we know we would be spending quite some time... More

I stayed for one night in the Junior Suite with my partner. On arrival the service at the reception was extremely poor. The woman dealing with our check-in was very rude. A smile and an hello would have been nice, she looked very unpleased to be working there so it seemed. The room, the Junior Suite was very spacious and... More
