What a nightmare. I know it is a budget hotel but you still expect to get the basics, like warm running water and a balcony door that opens! Stayed here in July for two weeks, for a cheap hotel this is situated in a great location near to everything you need ie Beach/Night life. The rooms are spacious with huge balconys, the pool bar is great with friendly british staff serving excellent food and drink at great prices.

Spent 2 weeks at the Omar mid November last year, and also in 2006 in October again for 2 weeks. These reviews do cast confusion on those willing to use somewhere as a decent base and not expecting perfection.
