A charming old-style Parador, a maze of corridors linking the rooms with hidden gardens en-route. Rooms modernised and comfortable - power shower. Absolutely quiet inside only aware of other guests at breakfast and round the pool. Service discrete, personal and efficient. On hilltop above town overlooking ferry terminal, so some noise during the day but no ferries or cruise ships... More

A wonderful hotel set above the town, a maze of corridors thread between small open gardens. Modern rooms with all facilities. Dining service is typical of the place - discrete, quiet but efficient. All in all a very restful and pleasant stay. Strongly recommended.

This Parador certainly deserves the best ranking in town... unfortunately it is rather because of the lack of competition than its own qualities ! Ok the location id perfect over the harbour and town and, more importantly, the place ifs really gorgeous: old building, classical decoration, beautiful garden and pool... This saved the whole stay. Forth rest everything is minimalist,... More

A traditional Parador - very attractive decor with a lovely open air courtyard full of plants. Nice gardens too. Pool was a good size although pretty cold when we were there in March! Sun beds were reasonably comfortable although not enough for all guests. There were several parasols and some trees for shade. A small bar area meant that you... More

We had a suite that was at the end of a long corridor and a long way from the centre of the hotel. Hot water did not flow to our room at all and I would ask for a room nearer the centre of the hotel if staying again. I would stay again because the restaurant is excellent and the... More

not very quiet! Spacious rooms with a nice terrace having sea view but we stayed there over the weekend and Saturdays & Sundays when the Naviera Armas & Fred Olsen ferries are remaining in the harbour over night with engines running - really the WHOLE NIGHT - , it is not possible to have a peaceful sleep! Very disappointing in... More

This is a lovely Parador set on the cliff top overlooking San Sebastian harbour and bay. It very peaceful and relaxing, with beautiful gardens and a good pool area. There are plenty of places inside and out where you can sit and relax in relative solitude if that's your thing. The breakfast was the usual Parador buffet which is adequate.... More

After a week of simple family run hotels up in the mountains of la Gomera it was a treat to relax for a couple of days in this charming colonial style hotel. It's not cheap but rooms are delightful, there are beautiful gardens, sea views and a pool. Food is also excellent. The hotel is set on cliff tops above... More

Spanish Paradors use to be buildings with plenty of character in fantastic locations. La Gomera Parador is not an exception - it is situated over a hill dominating the town and the harbor. The views from there are dramatic, amazing. Rooms are ample and well equipped, (although they don't have wifi), and the service is brilliant. Breakfast is amazing and... More
