The new renovations on the top floor are great. More room, nicely done. Still a great location at a reasonable price. Friendly service, decent breakfast, great staff, convenient for proximity to Palma and the Airport. While it has no parking, one can usually find a spot in the near proximity.

We stayed in this hotel during a 2-week trip to Spain in which we stayed in a total of 7 hotels-- this was by FAR the best (and most affordable!) hotel we stayed in. In fact-- we also stayed in an extremely luxurious hotel in Menora (one of the most expensive on the Island)-- and we were wishing the entire... More

I stayed at this hotel for one night as a pre stay to a fieldschool. The woman at the desk was very welcoming. My room was one floor up from the ground and although small.. I was traveling solo so could take advantage if the super cheap single rate, was super clean. My room overlooked a somewhat busy street so... More

The owners Pedro and Carmen and Manager Eva at the desk when owners not there, are beyond helpful. They add a personal touch that makes it so comfortable staying here. Amel, the housekeeper, keeps everything clean, clean, clean (the fact that I know everyone's name speaks volumes), and the location is perfect. Took me 6-7 minutes to enter gorgeous Ciutadella... We ended up here by accident as our little boy wasn't well and we needed to stay on in Menorca longer than planned. The staff were so warm and friendly it really made the whole experience much better. The hotel is simple but 'it does exactly what it says on the tin' and we slept soundly in our beds. It's... More

Second time I've stayed here and things are still very good for the money. I needed to change my booking dates with them and this was not a problem. Also fell victim to a cancelled flight and some fiesta related delays. There was someone waiting for me on the reception even though I arrived several hours after I was supposed... More

We had such a wonderful time at Hotel Balear! We stayed at the end of August and despite having arrived from Mahon at 1 in the morning, we were greeted by a very friendly woman who made our entire stay a real pleasure. Regrettably, we did not get her name, otherwise we would mention her specifically! Our room was very... More

Rooms are good, very clean. the place has been renovated. Breakfast is very basic however they propose to make you sandwich for the beach. Only negative points: no elevator, no frigde, no parking... It's basic and the rooms are small (If you've ever been to Hong Kong or lived in University accommodation, you'll know what to expect), but it's very clean, well located, newly renovated and is run by very friendly people who speak excellent English. There is decent, free wi-fi connectivity and the rooms, although small, contain everything that you need. Beds... More
