Very good central location to visit Palma de Mallorca. Rooms overlooking the passage way are very noisy at the weekend, ask for a room above the courtyard if you don't mind paying more. The breakfast buffet sets you up for the day very well with a good choice including a glass of Cava. My only complaint is most staff could... More

This is a great hotel in a fabulous location with helpful staff, good facilities and fine breakfast. Agree with all positive reviews here and would definitely stay again. However, I just wanted to reiterate some of the comments regarding choice of rooms, which I wish I'd taken more notice of before our trip. We stayed on first floor in room... More

We stayed here between Christmas and New Year, and really enjoyed it, Warm rooms, very comfortable beds, lots of hot water. Staff extremely helpful and coffee at breakfast amazing. Reception lots of information on local restaurants etc. Beautiful Courtyard. Loved the little touches of Christmas sweeties, and Bucks Fizz at breakfast. The ponsiettas and Christmas decorations just the right touch,... More

Only a one night stopover but more than adequate for the 90 euro price. Rooms pretty basic, breakfast same, but clean enough and the location and the lobby/courtyard more than compensate. Staff were fine and polite. Would I stay here again? No problem, I mean it is next to C&A, what more could a nostalgic 80's High Street Aficionado look... More

This is the second time I've stayed at Hotel Born. A 2-star hotel at a reasonable price bang in the centre of this lovely city. I echo some of the previous comments. This is an old palace with stately Spanish entry area looking into a large courtyard area (where breakfast is taken). The negatives are minor (for a 2-star) -... More

We stayed at Born in the end of August 2014 together with two other family members. When we arrived in the middle of the day we had to wait for the reception staff to show up. They did not help us carry our luggage three floors. The breakfast was really bad although the backyard was really majestic. The beds are... More

Just returned from a 2 night break to Palma where we stayed at the delightful Hotel Born. Although rated at just 2 stars, my friend and I both agreed this was not indicative of this lovely charming hotel. Having read a couple of derogatory reviews before travelling, we were slightly apprehensive of what we would find, however, once there we... More

A fantastic hotel. Quality throughout. Quiet and small, right in the center of Palma. Try it, you will not regret. It used to be a classic mansion, with a central square where we had our breakfast. Not a place for kids, I would say

Beautiful hotel in old private palace, just 50 meters off Passeig Born. The location is perfect, on a peaceful small alley just 50 meters from Palmas no1 shopping street. Wonderful lobby and courtyard, where you can eat your breakfast. No elevators and 3 floors, choose another hotel if stair-climbing with your luggage is a problem. I guess that only the... More
