This hotel is excellently situated - you can literally walk to everything. It has a laid back vibe, cute little sun trap terrace on the roof and pleasant interior patio for a late evening drink. Rooms are very comfortable with excellent wifi and modern bathrooms. One evening we ate dinner which again was very good. For breakfast wander up a... More

Beautifully refurbished old XIII century house in the middle of the historic town of Palma, with very large rooms with modern bathrooms and comfortable beds. All staff including the restaurant staff were all extremely helpful and pleasant and our short stay very relaxing. In the evening we had the tasting menu in the outside patio and every dish was delicious... More

Just back from a weekend stay at the Can Cera Hotel. What a wonderful experience. The hotel itself is a beautiful old building in the middle of the old town, perfectly located for exploring. The staff at this hotel are amazing, they couldn't do enough for us and really went out of there way to ensure our stay was perfect.... More

We did not stay at the hotel but having read so many great reviews about the place we decided to have lunch there. The only positive part of the whole experience were the staff, particularly the manager who was very good. On the negative side the setting and the meal were an absolute disaster. We took a table in the... More

Dear Customer, Thank you very much for your comment and the excellent words about our staff and our service. We regret very much that the dinner you had in our restaurant was not of your liking. As yourself could see by the comments of other guests, both the hotel and restaurant have very good reputation. We can assure you that... More

This hotel is located in the heart of the old town, the rooms are lovely, breakfast was plentiful all hot food was cooked to order, the gastro dining that we tried one evening was fantastic. We booked the Spa, which ended our day wonderfully the staff were all so attentive and professional would definitely go back.

Ok, so I was proposing anyway, but, without any rose-tinted glasses, it was genuinely excellent. We had the suite (there's only one full suite, the old nobleman's quarters) and it was lovely, the perfect blend of antiquity and luxury. The service was informal but respectful and the hotel is located in the best, oldest part of Palma. We were given... More

The Can Cera is perfectly located in the "Old Centre" of Palma de Mallorca, as long as you don't have a car (parking is currently 30+ euros a night). A really old building internally converted to a modern state of the art Boutique Hotel, we were in room 7 on the second floor (thats strange). A huge room, comfortable bed,... More

We were looking for a very special hotel to escape to in Palma, having left our toddler with her grandparents, and Can Cera didn't let us down. A beautifully converted old townhouse in the heart of the old city, it is luxurious, tasteful and charming. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the communal spaces (which seem to outnumber the bedrooms!)... More

Can Cera is perfectly located in a small 150 meter street right between two beautiful churches (Sta Eulalia and Sta Fransisc) in the heart of Palma. Can be reached easily from the airport by taxi (€19 one way) or by bus and a short walk (linea 1, busstop Porta del Camp , €3 each person, one way). The hotel is... More

We stayed from 27 Nov- 1 Dec. Superb location in the old city, very convenient for all the key sites. Outstanding boutique hotel with exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Individual rooms of great character (owner is a renowned interior designer) and beautiful and relaxing public lounges. Good restaurant with excellent breakfast - you can't expect the variety you might get... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
At over 700 years old, Can Cera has one of the longest histories in Palma. The building dates back to before 1232 when Jaume I conquered the island with Catalan and Aragonese troops. Located inside the ancient city walls close to the Cathedral, Can Cera is in the very heart of the Old City, between the Plaza de Santa Eulalia and the Plaza de San Francisco. Over the years, Can Cera’s many owners have made alterations to the original building. The most important of these were done in the 17th Century, when –as in many of the surrounding houses– Italian Renaissance architects inspired the creation of the celebrated patios, giving the houses their singularly attractive, yet austere, character. Inside, the house is significant and rich with well-proportioned rooms, high ceilings of sculptured plasterwork, balconies and above all, palatial adornments. Today, Can Cera, has been thoroughly renovated and equipped as a first class Hotel. The traditional Majorcan patio, with its majestic arches, exuberant Kentia and other lush plants, leads to the Reception area and the Can Cera Restaurant. A marble stairway leads up to a surprising space: a comfortable and welcoming Home with its original layout intact. Period furniture and contemporary paintings abound. ... more   less
