The room was excellent. Clean, bright and recommended, even though another couple were later booked into the same room as us and walked in while we were reading emails on our laptop. Could have been worse, just a mess-up at the check-in desk. The main gripe was the food. The restaurant opened at 9.00pm and after a day on the... More

The staff provided an exceptional service and were very helpful to us when we arrived at midnight (cooking us dinner despite the restaurant closing). We were also allowed to leave the car in the car park for as long as we needed to on the day of check out. The room was stylish and clean, however the poor sound insulation... More

Just 10 minutes from the centre of Vitoria is this excellent small family owned and run hotel . ultra modern with good size and well appointed bedrooms with everything you are likely to need. we arrived early with some friends but it was not a problem were offered coffee while they finished getting the bedrooms ready. We had dinner in... More

Hotel Araba is only a couple of years' old, and was architecturally designed in very good taste. The hotel only has 20 rooms. Each is well proportioned without being enormous, but we found ourselves very comfortable indeed. The design of the place helps to make it feel special, e.g., little things like being able to open the window and let... More

We booked this based on other recommendations in Trip Advisor and we were not let down. Graded 2 star it certainly is not. Primarily a restaurant with modern accommodation in a new building right beside it. For an overnight travelling north or south towards Bilbao or France it's a great place to break the journey. The rooms were really good... More

Although not much English was spoken here, that was part of the fun. The hotel is a little hidden by the restaurant at the front, which seems to be the main part of the business (and which looked very good). Enter through the restaurant and ask to check in to the hotel. The rooms are very modern and well appointed... More

We stayed at Araba for 3 nights. It is a little oasis. Impeccable rooms, super friendly and professional staff, always ready to accommodate their guests needs. We parked at the hotel and took the bus to the old city. A breeze. We ended up eating at the restaurant. It is, simply put: AMAZING. Their Natilla dessert was out of this... More

Got to say was a little daunted when pulled up outside. It was a fairly shabby street, graffiti in evidence everywhere. Temperature in the car was dropping as the wife fixed me with an icy stare. As we entered, what a change. Lovely outside area, with immaculate lawn and nice furniture. Guys on reception very friendly and check in a... More

Probably the best hotel in Spain. The decor is modern, clean and well executed in American oak with amazing stone bathrooms. Staff are friendly and,in our case helped us without hesitation when the car - towing a large (think horse box) trailer - got stuck in entrance to car park. We will be back!!
