We spent one night with our 2-year-old daughter and really enjoyed the stylish building. Bathroom, bed, parking, all was very convenient. Even though we were one hour late for breakfast, they could still offer us pastry, juice and coffee and showed understanding. We would stay here again on a visit to the gastronomical town of Vitoria!

For travellers North – South v.v. this is a very attractive hotel. Convenient located at the fringes of Vitoria-Gasteiz, easy to find, and not too far away from the main road A1 Madrid – San Sebastian vv. The hotel is an ancient Monasterio from the 16th Century and used over the centuries for different purposes. The place was completely abandoned,... More

We came to this lovely hotel late in the evening and were extremely happy to find such a warm welcome. Although the appearance is that of an old cold place it couldn't be more un-true. The hotel has basic beds but all wonderfully up to date bath room facilities. Our shower even had a steam room option. Superb we will... More

We were there out of season, so the price was good. A beautiful old building, expertly refurbished into a hotel. Rooms are as wonderful as they look in their on-line brochure. 10 minutes walk from wetlands with deer and bird hides, 25 minutes walk into town, but buses go close and are frequent. Friendly English-speaking staff. Really lovely experience. Would... More

As others have mentioned this is an old building which has been restored. Therefore the surroundings are not modern but they have restored well & we found no problems with the services. We had a lovely greeting from the receptionist who spoke good English & gave us all the info we needed. Wi-fi worked well for us & the showers... More

Whilst this hotel is pretty and welcoming, the bedroom we occupied was dull and sparse. Bed hard and uncomfortable, bolster pillow which was v. uncomfortable but this was our fault because there were two pillows in the wardrobe. But no info in the room about the hotel, no contact details for emergencies. We had to dine on the opposite side... More

The hotel is said to have a restaurant open for dinner all week, but it closes other than at weekends. Breakfast however is good. Location is 30 minutes walk to the city centre. Staff are pleasant and whilst the exterior of the hotel is well kept with adequate parking some of the rooms are small with uncomfortable beds.

A little hotel, in an out-of-the-way place, with a refreshing difference from the run-of-the-mill type so often found. The rooms are very nice, some being converted from a stable block and the hotels grounds are well planted and laid out. Secure car parking is provided. It's basic, but very good value for money, friendly and good for a stop in... More

I was looking forward to staying in this historical monument, a beautifully restored 16th-century palace just outside of Vitoria-Gasteiz in a quiet area. The exterior was not as spectacular as I had imagined, but the interior is very charming and tastefully decorated. Done in dark wood, it has a very cozy feel. Our room for three was nice, it even... The actual hotel looks beautiful, with a cozy back yard and good parking possibilities. Staff is great, helpful and friendly. Rooms are interestingly designed, however, our room reeked of tobacco, even though it was said to be non smoking. The negative part is that hotel location is less than charming and pretty far away from the center of the city.... More
