Great value for money, simple but very clean rooms. Free fast wifi. If you manage to find a parking spot in front of the hotel, where parking is for free, count yourself extremely lucky. Public transport close by, nice bars in the neighborhood and in a 10-minute walk you're at the beach.

13 minutes away from the Ondarreta beach, cean rooms, friendly staff, free fast Wi-Fi. Nice place to stay in your visit to Donostia...but impossible to find a place to park in the parking lot. You pay for tlparking nearby with the hassle of having renew the parking every few hours. What a pity, otherwise 5 stars.

The hostel was clean and the rooms were ok, but the staff was very unfriendly and seemed angry and the breakfast was not good. Smell of cigarette came in our room all night and the place was noisy. Not for families.

For the price, this is a super place to stay in San Sebastian with the facility to park your car which is not easy in the centre. Breakfast included and is adequate - certainly enough food to give you a great start to the day. Rooms basic but comfortable and have what you need. Wish it was slightly closer to... More

Stayed there during the donosti cup and had a fantastic time, thanks! Breakfast was always nice and the staff were useful even though the language barrier wasn't always easy. Rooms changed daily and nice atmosphere, hopefully returning next year.

Pros: It's a well priced, well equipped hotel with a quirky atmosphere due to its history as a student dorm. The corridors have a certain charm to them and if you explore the basement you will find a gym, as well as some other nice things (music rooms, a piano collection etc.). It has both a free and a paid... More

Normally we stay in more central places in San Sebastian. But having decided late in the game to spend a 2 day weekend in San Sebastian during the high season (late June) we booked this place as it was only 59 euros per night It was a very good experience: It's basically a student dorm that is rented out during... We traveled for 3 weeks in France and Spain. The Olarain was our worst lodging. We booked through the tourist office for 90 Euros which the highest price since Paris. This is a dormitory, nothing more. We had some high volume Dutch folks in the room above us that wouldn't shut up despite a couple of calls to the front... More

I have spent four nights to Colegio Mayor Olarain accomodation! I found the accomodation in the toursit infromation office as my booking in another hotel was a really bad experience for me! At least I did not pay anything(to the previous hotel) and I found this pleasant hotel very quick! Advantages 1)Rooms were simply furnished, new and ensuite with TV 2)... More

Lovely place to stay with good rooms and great bathroom. Not too keen on the side opening window which is not suitable for families with children. The Air Conditioning in the common areas should be extended also to the bedrooms which can be stuffy when the curtains are drawn at night. Breakfast at €3.90 is very very good and great... More
