We had a lovely room. Spotlessly clean in an excellent location with air-conditioning for most of the night. Despite being in the centre of the old part, there was no noise (except from the pulley-actioned washing line outside the window- a drop of oil mightn't go astray!). The old-fashioned lift is something to see in itself. The owner, whilst speaking... More

I wouldn't stay here again. I felt more like I was an intruder in someone's house than I was in a 'hotel'. Owners live on the same floor. Casually walk in when they feel like it. They speak little English. The only good thing was location & fast wifi

This small boutique hotel is located on one floor of a building located in the heart of the old town. The rooms are very small but it had all we required. We slept comfortably and each room had a small balcony. The staff were also attentive although not 24 hours at reception.

We were two couples who turned up to view another pension in same building but were very impressed with this particular one, not only for the quality of the rooms but the welcoming reception we received from the proprietors. We spent two nights here and would certainly return again. We even got discount on car parking for that time, they... More

As we decided to use the enormous offer of bars in the center for our daily breakfast it was the perfect choice. The guesthouse is already at the border of the old town. Just going down from second floor where Alameda is in the building you find the first bar (Gott) only 30 meters away from the entrance. The owner... More

We found this hotel by looking online. It was very comfortable for the three nights we stayed. The most fun was finding it! The taxi dropped us off and sort of motioned across the square, where there were a lot of big buildings. We couldn't see it at all. Finally, we spotted the name on the second floor of a... More

Returning to San Sebastian after a 9 yr gap and were really looking forward to going back. It was a last minute squeeze in and the pension was just the job.....right in the centre of the action with tapas and pinxto bars within a stone's throw. The traffic was an absolute nightmare and the situation resolved by the pension having... More

rooms are clean and well maintained, and sheets changed, towels changed everyday and the ambiance inside is quite quiet... during the weekends a bit more animation in the Alameda makes some noise but you can not hear it if you like to spend a bit more time outside... it is very nice location because close of a lot of interesting... Amazing location, great value for money rooms, and a town to fall in love with. The couple who run this place are lovely; they lent us a kettle and cups so we could make tea in the morning. And I can't say enough - the location!!!! A view of the the playa be la concha from the itty bitty balcony,... More

This is a gem hidden on the second floor of a building right in the old town. The room was exceptionally comfortable, the host more than helpful and the bed and bathroom were both great. The quaint old style lift adds to the beauty of the Hotel. As a destination San Sebastian is an excellent place to visit. The Pintxos... More
